I bought the device to switch between two HDMI inputs (cable box and VCR) into a single HDMI TV input. I was hoping it would automatically switch between the two inputs depending on which device was turned on. It does do this...sometimes, but I usually have to get up and hit the button to get it to switch inputs. As long as you're willing to do this, the device is dependable and worth the 25 bucks it cost.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Audio specs
Does this do audio as well or just video?
Seems to work fine for audio on my TV and inputs. Just remember that the automatic operation isn't terribly dependable - depends on the inputs being switched and the TV you're using.

If I connect this to my Dish satellite receiver, and want to connect 3 tv's. Will it work?
Nope - this device connects multiple sources to a single TV. You want to connect multiple TV's to a single source. I think they make such a device (splitter?) but this one isn't it.
