These retractable ball point pens feature triangular-shaped barrels for writing comfort and soft, latex-free grips for a firm hold. The click pen tops advance the tips with a quick, side-button release. The matte black color delivers a professional look.

If you are a fine tip person then these aren't the pens for you. Most fine tip pens are .5mm or maybe .7mm BUT these pens are a full 1MM tip. I prefer a broader tip because the broader the tip the smoother the writing (typically). The negative to broader tips is that a page of notes can get cluttered and bigger tip= more ink consumed. What makes these pens a standout (besides smoothing writing) is the durable pocket clip, retracting locking and release mechanism, and the comfortable triangular barrel.

THE GOOD: Plugs everywhere!, dark color, 2 usbs, right angle plugUSB port limited to 1.1amp, 13 plugs not realistic, SHORT warranty, no $$ guarantee, cheap feel Relatively affordable option for someone needing more outlets and a USB charger but I have one issue and one concern that stops me from recommending this device. THE BAD: USB ports are a limited to 1.1 amp reguardless of if both are used. Usually chargers will output full amps if only one USB is used. This has a stated output of 2.1 amps. I only own one USB V/A tester so I can't confirm total output other than it will not push over 1.1-1.2 Amps on either port. CONCERNS: short warranty is not reassuring (90 days) since the primary reason most will buy this is the USB ports and they will be the first to fail. The build quality and weight makes it feel very cheap, again not reassuring. In the past I have had good luck with dynex products. Also, the 13 outlets are only nice if you need the plug position variety. I wouldn't try to max out capacity unless you had small plugs and mounted this device down. VERDICT: Id say if your buying this over other devices and the USB ports are a primary concern (especially if you plan on charging tablets) I'd say definitely pass on this. Id return if I didn't buy this primarily trying to use up RZ certificates. Take away the USB ports and you can better deal on a higher quality device, especially sale items.

connected equipment warranty
is there a connected equipment warranty, like the Dynex™ - 8-Outlet 2-USB-Port Surge Protector has a Dynex™ $250,000 connected equipment limited warranty.
does this one just not have one?
No There appears no "insurance" type protection in the product documentation I received, albeit those benefits are virtually worthless marketing. (I wouldn't NOT buy it because it doesn't have it.) What is more concerning is the 90-day product warranty vs. the 1 yr most items have.
