For a better overview, I'd recommend First Rays Of The New Rising Sun. That's what this release was intended to be at first, but tracks were scattered onto other posthumous releases throughout the years. This release though serves as a sampler of First Rays.

Jethro Tull had more than just ten hit songs, but this collection is meant for a fan who doesn't want to spend a lot of money. It's a good starting point, but some of the well known songs were recorded live from 1978 as opposed to the original studio track.

Throughout the years their record company has been releasing compilations left and right. This one released on their 50th anniversary as a band is a perfect summary of hits from 1962 up to their recent 2012 studio release, even inculding material from their challenging period in the 70's. 2013 saw the release of a 6 CD boxed set, but 50 Big Ones is what you're better off with.

First new studio album since 2008 and also the debut of Richie Faulkner contributing to a Judas Priest studio recording. If you're familiar with their 1990 release Painkiller, then it should be a no-brainer to buy this album. Even though KK Downing has left the band, Richie helped fill the void and kept the formula rather than change it up.

Creed disbanded in 2004 with Scott Stapp going solo and the rest of the members forming Alter Bridge. 5 years later they reunited to record Full Circle. It's a great comeback, especially with the release of their second single Rain. It's like they never really left...

I saw it in the theater during Christmas vacation. I liked it so much, I waited for the movie to be released on DVD. Stallone and De Niro share common ground by acting as boxers from their previous works combined. They get to relive their past by working on this particular project. Rounding the movie out was getting actors like Kevin Hart, Alan Arkin, and Kim Basinger to play smaller roles. Overall it's a good combination of a comedy and drama.
