If you are patient, and don't mind jiggling the unit to drop some water you will get results for a little while. Then jiggle it again, and it will work for a while longer. Also, this unit has a very small hole for the water to go into which is not compatible with my water source.

What's great about it: When it works it helps heat the room.
What's not so great: It tends to stop working while there is still plenty of water in it
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
