The chocolate cable has no issues transferring 4k signal and really feels high quality when holding. No freezing or skipping or distortion with this HDMI cable. I can't say that I have tried a different cable that doesnt work, but I've had no reason to believe this isnt a great cable.
Don't get me wrong, for $100/meter it better work flawlessly.

Excellent sounding receiver...

...I really like the sound and power this receiver puts out. I have this in a media room in my basement (approx 12x22) with a 7.1 Klipsch system with a combo of in-walls (surround) and tower/center speakers. I likeed the setup/calbration that it offers and used that as part of my initial setup. This receiver definitely pumps enough power to shake the room and feel it 3 floors above. I like that it transfers any of the input signals/types and outputs it through the HDMI out. I have read that some receivers require matching output for every input type. I am sure I have only used about 10% of its features so far, but I really only need it for producsing awesome sound.
If not for this one minor problem, I would have given it 5 stars. Either during setup or shortly after initial setup it froze on me. I could not change any settings, adjust the volume, turn it off or anything, it was frozen stiff. I eventually had to unplug it to get it to reset itself. This has not happened since, but does scare me a little bit. Considering I do not use this every day, I'm concerned that it will get worse and I wont notice it until its too late to return.
Wish the zone two allowed for hardwired speaker connections.

Love 4K content and streaming...

First, let me start out by applauding this TV for how good it looks when displaying 4k content. I also love the ability to stream from amazon prime (use it all the time), the apps that the tv offers are very good, and looking forward to using the ESPN app during the fantasy baseball season. I would have given 5 stars if not for the following:
1. If you are not viewing from straight on, there seems to be a 'white haze' over the screen. This may just be an issue with all TVs when not viewing at the optimal viewing angle, but I dont know that for sure.
2. I really cannot seem to get optimal picture settings to notice any of the 4k upscaling of 1080p signal. I really don't see it and have not had a ton of luck finding the perfect settings online.
3. Building on #2 above, I cant really eliminate the ghosting or lag on this TV. While watching the NCAA tournament, I noticed ghosting here and there while watching. Not enough to make it unwatchable, but enough to be annoyed by it.
4. I've noticed that the amazon prime app is a little finicky. For example, if I have recently watched something from the UHD video pack via the USB port, the next time I access amazon prime instant video app, the videos do not play and I get a black screen. If I unplug the TV and plug it back in, then try amazom prime instant videos it magically works.
Having spent about $2500 on this TV, I would have hoped that the above issues would not be present. If the 9000 drops under 3000, I would consider returning this for the upgrade, but I am running out of time on the return period.
Overall a solid performer.

Love this Bello TV stand for it's sturdiness and good looks. Easily holds my 65" Samsung curved TV, 2 receivers, center speaker, TIVO, and 3D Blu ray player. The width is almost exactly the width of the 65" TV and that's exactly what I was looking for. Easy to put together and no additional tools needed. Well worth the money.
