The phone is an Alcatel, but all support has to go through Tracfone. I have contacted support for 2 different issues, and both times I was given inaccurate information. The memory capacity seems a little light. There is no flash for the camera. This is a "basic" smartphone and works as my first, but I will upgrade very quickly.

The phone cord that came with my multi-function 8620 was defective (I had no dial tone when faxing). After troubleshooting, I called HP support. The first tech said it was because I had DSL (after making me rearrange the power cords.) The case manager said it was because I had DSL. I put in a new phone line, and the tech saw that the cord was defective. New cord = dial tone.

How to silence the ringer when necessary on the pixi glitz?
Go to "settings" and select "sound" then "phone ringtone" then "silent".
