This USB Wi-Fi adapter comes with a semi-rigid 3 inch extension cable which permits you to orient it in an manner several inches from the computer USB port which may give you a signal with less interference or shielding. Driver software is excellent with easy to understand graphic presentation of available servers and performance. I recommend this-great value for the money.

This is an excellent value for the price (holiday sale) and I utilized a multiport HDMI switch with remote (from eBay) and my HDTV serves my ASUS computer, Apple TV streaming box, Lenovo laptop, and DISH network. This computer has lots of RAM and many USB ports front and back to serve all those pesky gadgets. Also has HDMI out. I selected this unit because it has the power to drive my high end photo and video editing software-which really dragged on the laptop.

Will this work as well as an alternative to the much pricier Panasonic USB Network adapter to connect my TV to my wireless network?
Check out the family of ROKU brand streaming boxes. You will have access to hundreds of channels including Netflix, Vudu, etc. All newer Roku boxes have an HDMI output and will connect to your home wireless network.
