Good protection but won't stay on.

Either I am doing something wrong or these just weren't meant for my phone. I can get it on and get all the air pockets out but it only stays on for a few days and then the corners start to peel away. I have put 3 on since I bought them. They last anywhere from 4 days to maybe a week. I have re-read the directions and followed them to the letter and still have problems.

Great little connector

I have bought several different "couplers" over the past year. I am an automotive instructor and there are times when I have to join 2 HDMI cables to get it to where I need it. While most other ones fail in a short period of time this one has stood the test of time. I have used it many many times over the past few months and the cables still connect like it was new. When I read the reviews I was sold on the unit. I got it home opened it up and followed the directions. This means you have to hook it up to a PC to "program" the remote. It only took a few minutes and I was done. It is not perfect but really close. It won't turn my cable box on or off but it will control it and pull up the guide. Sometimes it turns the wrong thing on and off. It does have a great range as I can turn everything on and off from the other side of the room and part way into the adjacent room.

As always technology changes and with that so does the size of laptops. Some programs still require a CD/DVD player. I had been looking at a desktop model that plugs into power just to make sure that everything would work correctly. The Best Buy guy suggested this model and while it didn't look like much I thought I would give it a try. What a great little drive. Not only does it do a fantastic job of running software I managed to make a back up copy of a DVD program that I use. I guess good things do come in small packages.

I have had several of these types of presenter tools and most of them manage to eat batteries. I was very happy with this one as I have used it everyday for a month and it still has the same batteries that came with it. It also feels good holding onto. It's not to big but yet the buttons are easy to feel without fumbling for them.

Where can I find Windows 7 drivers for this product? My Rocketfish bluetooth usb adapter finds it, and starts to connect to it, but fails at the "installing drivers" stage. I looked on the Insignia web site, but could not find the product there.
Are you running windows 7 or windows 10. If you are in windows 10 try installing it and when it isn't successful just click ok and then wait. a pop up screen will come up and ask if this device installed correctly. just say no and it will ask if you would like to try and run it in an earlier version of windows. Just follow the prompts and you can choose which windows you want to run it in.
If you are running windows 7 copy the error message into your browser and search for that message. I hope this helps

It all depends. You should probably pull your system apart and see what is inside it. I have had a couple of all in one pc's that actually used laptop memory and not desktop memory. there really isn't a way to tell unless you physically open it up and look.

If I have 4 GB ram already installed and I buy this 8gb will it give me 12 gigs total
With 2 expansion slots do they have to be the same size?
No they do not have to be the same size. It does help if they are the same speed though. The other thing to look at is how much RAM will your PC support. depending on how old it is some may only recognize 8GB of RAM.

Everything is connected properly from the mac to the tv/hdmi. Why isn't the tv picking the signal?
Sometimes you have to turn the TV off then with everything hooked up turn it back on and it should automatically find it. If that doesn't work then you will need to go into the settings menu of the tv and manually select it. Are you running this thru a sound bar? That can also have an effect on it.

Do Garmin GPS units require a data plan or some kind of monthly fee in order to give turn-by-turn directions or to recalculate the route?
no. turn by turn is included with the unit. If you are not getting that then you may have to go to the settings of the GPS and turn it on. I have owned several Garmin units and have never had an issue with turn by turn directions. The same goes for recalculating the route.
