I am coming off a ASUS RT68U AC-1900 which is a pretty good router and it actually covers my 3000 soft pretty well. Now, I can say that this workhorse can beat the ASUS router by a wide margin and when paired with one Velop node, it can really sing!
I also got a velop node to pair alongside with this router and I can get a full 100Mbps download speed at every point in my house (my internet speed is 100/100)
The setup was pretty straight forward. Download the Android app(you also have an IOS App) and then connect to the router through the default password and it has step by step on how to configure the router. Once the router is setup, the app also helps in setting up the velop nodes. Once the setup is fully complete, you can actually login into the router for complex configurations through the web Browser. Although , most of the fictionality is available on the app itself like parental controls, device prioritization, guest wifi setup etc.
One thing I noted is that, if you want to setup different password for 2.4 and 5Ghz lines you will need to actually login through the router via a web browser.
Once the setup is actually complete, I was able to connect 1 five tv, 1 roku, 1 smart things, a few smart devices, 4 tablets , 3 phones. The router was able to handle peak load during the time wherein a lot of devices were using the internet. I tested the prior dead spots which i had with my ASUS router and this link sys router was abler to fill in the gaps. I am very impressed.
i was even able to connect a hard drive to read movies off the drive and the read/write speed was acceptable.
My gripe with the prior router was that for upgrade , I had to actually login into the router, upload a file to be able to update the firmware on the router. With constant cyber crimes happening, its important to make sure the firmware on the router is always upto date. With my prior router, I might have upgraded the firmware probably one. With the link sys router, I do not have to worry about upgrading firmware as it takes care of the upgrades automatically. love the feature.
Overall, I like the router, it functional, its modern and works with velop!!

SETUP
The headphones comes fully charged out of the box. Pairing is straight forward, push the volume down button and the power button for 5 seconds to enter the pairing mode. I used it with my Samsung S8+ and was able to pair easily. Charging is done through the micro usb cable. You can hook it up to a computer or to a travel adapter. The headphones can be used with the fins, fins and ear hooks or just ear hooks. I think using both fins and hooks are comfortable. You have adequate fins and ear tips supplied with the headphones just in case you loose some.
BUILD QUALITY
I was very impressed with the build quality. It is very well packaged as well. The vmoda website claims this to be waterproof and sweat proof but I was not able to find information on the IP Rating
SOUND
I was amazed at the audio quality of this thing. I compared with over headphones and they are very much close in sound to over the ear headphones. Good punchy bass without compromising highs or mids. The headphones support Aptx.
I was also able to test this out using the microphone feature by making a phone call and the other party was able to hear me clearly. I think this is a great feature to have.
BATTERY LIFE
The battery is rated at 11 hrs and was able to get 12 out of this thing. There is no battery indicator which says Full, Medium and Low (only a low battery indicator) to check what the level of the battery is which I think would be a good feature to have. There is a quick 15 minute charge for 2.5 hours of run time and this is a good feature to have when you are going to rush to the gym and realize that you have run out of battery!

I think overall this is a good product with excellent battery life and good quality sound.

SETUP
Its pretty easy, there are a couple of screws on the battery compartment. Open the battery door and pop the battery into it, screw the door back on and put it on the desktop charger. I was able to get to a full charge in a couple of hours. The battery level is indicated in the small LCD screen on the radio
USAGE
Cobra claims that the battery will last 8 hours, I charged it a week back and it is still going strong albeit I have not used it much. So the way I tested is within the house, around my neighborhood and a couple of miles away from my house. The radio has 22 channels, both the sets need to be at the same channel to be able to communicate. If you connect a headset to the radio, you can use it in a voice activated mode which is cool.
The radio has a call indicator to indicate incoming call and also beeps when the call is done.
The radio works great within the house, its about 3000 sqft and two levels. Within the neighborhood, I asked my son to bike to a distance, I would say a mile and I was able to test the range out although there was static noise when we did this. When I took this to a 2 mile radio I could hear the static more. This was a few houses away so I am expecting some static.
I heard lot of folks complain about the range but I notice on the box that is a line of sight without obstructions. So it really has to be a flat surface and you should be able to see each other?
I think this will be a good tool to pack up during camping.

I have never used a dash cam before so this is my first one. I did a bit of research on dash cams and insurance and I cams to know that I do not get discounts on insurances but I could use the footage from the camera if I do get into an accident to show what actually happened. Note that the camera records only what’s in front of you if you have one camera. However, you can hardwire another one to capture the footage behind your vehicle. I am going to be using this to record what’s out in front of the vehicle.
SETUP
it comes with wire to either hardwire or connect to a 12v outlet. I chose not to hardwire (as I am not an expert) and used this cam to connect to a 12v battery. You then need to put in the 32gb memory card into the slot and turn on the camera. You can format your micro sd card using the camera and set to up for recording directly. You will need to set the date snd time and also the license plate number so that the video is timestamped on the video.
At some point I will swap the 32gb card with a 256gb one so that I can loop the videos longer.
USAGE
The dash cam is always on when you turn on the vehicle and in the record mode by default. It is indicated by a red dot. The camera has a pretty good coverage almost a 180 degree (170 degree to be precise) that’s really wide angle. I was able to test out during the day and night and the footages during the dat and night actually came out pretty good. I was impressed by how clear the night vision was , thanks to the Sony Exmor sensor.
The camera has a looping mode which means that the videos are overwritten once the micro SD card runs out of space.
Camera has 2 locking modes for looping, one automated and one manual. Pressing the OK button while recording will start the locking mode. The locked videos are stored in a different location in the SD card so that the data is not lost when the recording is looping. I think this s a great feature so that you do not lose important footage

Playback can be using the 2.4 inch LCD screen or you can take out the micro SD card and plug into your computer and you can browse the videos on the computer. The format of the video is .mov and I was able to open them using as vlc media player.
VERDICT
I think this camera is a keeper. The video quality, ease of use and price makes it a worth buy. some day insurance companies will start giving discounts for having dash cams.

SUMMARY
I wanted a scanner to be able to remove clutter from my kitchen drawer since me and my wife constant had fights over saving all the receipts and mails in the kitchen drawer. So I got this scanner to be able to scan receipts and trash them. It’s a very useful and convenient device for saving documents electronically.
SETUP
Very simple. Download the Epson Scansmart software from the epson website, install it and then connect your scanner to the USB port of the computer and you are good to go.
USAGE
Once you have installed the software, you can start feeding the documents into the scanner and it will automatically open the smart scan app. the app will then provide you options on what to do with the documents you scanned. You can save the documents to your computer, attach to email, upload to cloud, print it or save as a Microsoft document and also rotate the documents.
The scanner allows you to save the documents as as PDF, searchable PDF, JPG or Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel or Microsoft Powerpoint (only in Windows)
Default folder for saving is Epson Docs Labs but you can change it. The documents can be uploaded to google drive or dropbox cloud services once you authenticate.

You can start scanning the document by feeding the document starting with the left corner. You can scan visiting cards, receipts , paper of sizes upto 8.5x72
The documents actually scan pretty fast for such a tiny feeder scanner. It can scan a document in less than 6 seconds!! Which I think is phenomenal!
All of the defaults can be changed by going to setting and you can chose the file format, location and how you want the documents to be named.
Now, this module ES-55R also includes a receipt manager which can create files to be loaded to quickbooks. Since I am not in the business of managing inventory, I did not have the need to use this module. But I think it's a very good feature for maintaining accounts.
Once you scan the documents you can open the receipts in the receipt manager and you have options to do several things. - export to quickbooks, csv or as image files.
The receipt manager has options to also configure which columns you want to get displayed on your quickbooks export or csv files. You can deselect the columns in the settings. You can also chose the currency and language in the settings. If you are in US like me, I would just leave it alone!
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Did not have to do this yet, but looking at the Manual, it looks fairly straightforward by scanning a cleaning sheet. The manual says clean several times a year depending on usage
VERDICT
If you want to clean the clutter from your drawers and be more organized in your business accounting, get this and shred the clutter! I don’t think there is any thing equivalent to this thing in the market today!

I have a couple Bluetooth headphones, in-ear (Jabra Elite), Over Ear (Sony MDRXB950BT). None of them are really good for working out. The Jabra has a weird wire design and the other one is a over ear and not waterproof.
I wanted to get something which sounds good and also waterproof. So i decided to give the Jaybird Tarah Pro a shot.

Its just beautiful looking. Its got Excellent Build quality, the headphones has nice ear gels which comes with size 2 by default. The default size fits really well for me. Pairing was very straight forward, turn it on and you will hear "Ready to Pair", and connect to your phone by selecting Jaybird Tarah Pro. If you want to pause the music , just the two magnetic ear buds together and once they stick on the song will be paused. If they are snapped together for 15 minutes. Its is IPX7 rated which means you can keep it submerged in 40 inch water for upto 30 minutes.

The cord is just right sized as compared to my Jabra elite, it also can be tightened from behind with the "Speed Clinch". The nylon cord is also tangle proof and sturdy.

Very good, Good Highs & Meds and Punchy Bass. You can also download the Jaybird app which will control your equalizers. I have a samsung s8+ phone and i just use the in-built equalizers.
The headphones can control the volume, play , pause using the middle button. THe tracks can be skipped forward or backward using the volume buttons.
I was also amazed by the quality of the mic and the ability of the headphones to transmit my voice to the other end. This is the most common complaint with the Bluetooth headphones that the other party cannot hear but in this case of Jaybird Tarah Pro i was pleasantly surprised.
Charging & Battery life

Charging is through a prosperity charging cradle which connects to a USB Port to a computer or your cellphone power adapter. I can understand why they went with the proprietary adapter, to keep the headphones waterproof.

5 minutes of charge gives you 2 hours of run time. This is the best part, i do not make to make sure that my headphones are charged enough when i am going out to workout.

I saw this product on youtube and i decided to get it for my herniated disc. There are good videos on the hyperice (manufacturer's website which you can use for your exercises. I think using the roller, i am able to get relieve on my sore back. I also tried some of the other exercises like Gultes, Calf and Hamstring Muscles and i feel that after a round of exercise, the feeling was very good. It actually works better than a massager and since you are exercising on top of it, it has a double effect.
This is the first time i am using a roller so i do not have the experience with a non-vibrating roller to compare against, but i think the roller vibrations along with the grooves really help relax your muscles. It has three vibration settings and i am more comfortable with the second level.
I currently exercise my back on a regular basis and it seem to be helping.
It does seem to last an hour and forty five minutes which is close to the rated 2 hours.
I think this is a keeper! If only it was a $50 cheaper, i would have given it a 5*

This is my first time using chrome OS/Chromebook and i have to admit that i have been pleased. I was not sure why the earlier versions of the laptops that came out with this OS were really cheaply made. I think that Chrome is a good operating system and the stigma associated with the OS that its a brick offline is no longer true.
I can use my google docs, play movies, songs etc all offline and once i connect online, the data syncs up with the cloud. I also get 100GB of free cloud for 2 years with this laptop.
Setup -
It was very straight forward as it is on an android phone, everything ties to your email and you setup the machine using your email address.
Installing apps from play store works the same way as your phone.
Usage -
The laptop is very well built and it can be used as a regular laptop or a tablet as it is touch screen. it also can be used in tent mode for watching movies.
Track pad and the keyboard quality is comparable to my Dell Inspiron and i think it will last long.
The Intel i5 along with the chrome OS with 8GB of RAM really makes it powerful. I can run multiple tabs on chrome running different applications and it performs very well without any lag. My son loves talking tom run and installed it for him. The performance on the game was very smooth. I am pleased.
The battery life is very good, much better than the dell inspiron 7000 that i currently also own. i was able to get 8 hours out of the battery.
Charging is through a type C port and there are one on either side. I could use my phone charger to charge it so its very convenient.
I wish there were more USB ports on this as laptop thankfully there is a micro sd slot and you can buy a 256gb micro sd card and increase the hard drive just in case you run out of cloud space.
Finally, i think lenovo came out with a very usable, sturdy and worthy chromebook. i will recommend it!

This is a Truly a 3 in-one-device. I could replace my magic bullet, my faberware food processor and my blendtec blender.
The 2 20 oz cups replaced my need for the magic bullet which i used to dice onions and puree tomatoes and make chutneys.
I love the fact that i do not need to use my food processor and this Ninja will serve as a good food processor. I could cut my cabbages and carrots with ease and functions with the same performance of my faberware food processor.
I have a blendtec blender for some reason when i shake the motor, i feel some part is loose as i could hear something inside as if a coin got stuck. Hence i had to send it for repairs. As a temporary replacement, i got this.
One important thing to note is that the motor which this one comes with is 1400 Watts as compared to the regular ninja blender which is 1000 Watt. So it is 1.4 times more powerful.
The Blender has 9 Auto-iQ modes all together for the 72 oz Jar, 20 oz jar and the food processing jar.
I have to say that the smoothies made of ice, blueberry and strawberries came out fairly smooth. If not as smooth as the blendtec, i was very satisfied.
I think the construction is also more sophisticated than the blentec and love the way the jar/pitcher locks in place with the blender motor. I also like the lid better than the blendtec. its looks like of very good quality. The touchscreen is waterproof and its a smooth surface and hence, cleaning is easier.
Lets talk about the freshvac gadget that you get with it. It uses 4 AA batteries which comes with the blender. It is primarily used for smoothies when you want to avoid the frosting on the smoothie. I am not big into smoothies but i tried it and works as advertised.
I cook a lot of Indian food, we need to make batter with rice and pulses for an Indian dish called "dosa" and the batter came out to be very smooth almost same as what my blendtec would do. given the fact that the motor is 1400 watts as compared to 1500 Watt blendtec motor.
Noise wise, i think it matches the blentec, not too loud but again, its a blender, i think the noise is proportional to blending power so i do not expect it to be quiet.
Overall, i am satisfied with the blender and i will recommend it.

The Blender has 7 Auto-iQ modes - 72 oz Jar (smoothie, Puree, frozen drink and ice cream) & 20 oz Jar (smoothie, frozen drink and extract). it also has 3 manual modes - Low, High and Pulse. I typically use the smoothie mode or the high mode and run it for a duration i would like to.

I currently have an WRT1900ACS Router, would the VELOP AC6600 system be able to connect with that or do I did to replace in order to use the mesh system?
I dont think so. this is a a totally different system. you cannot connect it to a totally different router.
