Great sound for little money

I've always been happy with Sony audio and headphones. These are no exception. Lightweight, excellent sound - better than similar for less money.

What's great about it: Clarity in small package

What's not so great: wires look flimsy and possibly could easily tear

I would recommend this to a friend!

Will this work in Australia

I am traveling from the US with items I purchased in the US items including a cell phone charger and MAC computer and camera battery charger to Australia. will this unit adapt power from Australia and also transform the current so that US items are not damaged. I understand that perhaps a regular adapter only will damage my items and I will need a transformer in the unit as well. Will this unit work and be safe?

If the power supply with the device doesn't already support a range of voltages then you do need a converter from 220 - 110. Typically LAPTOP power supplies are always multi voltage. Others can be charged via the USB port on a laptop.

Is a 1600 watt converter 220/240 volts AC to 119/220 volts AC 50/60 Hz suitable for low power (p.e. Ipad, Iphone , camera, gps etc.) equipment?

its an adaptor not a converter. Its expected that the device power supply used should already support both 110-220 Volts

does this convert the 220 to 110 so your hair dryer or curling iron does not blow out?

Its not a convertor - its only an adaptor - therefore sorry no it wont.

Yes it does. If you use a laptop that has 3 prongs for the power supply, sometimes you need to combine sets together with the GBP adaptor plug

They use regular headphone jack, so if the airline you are travelling on (united for example) supports it then yes you are good to go

Do these headphones work with any other product besides Apple?

I don't own any Apple products, I purchased these headphones for better sound quality from my HP laptop and Samsung Note 4. I have not opened the box since they say "Made for IPod IPhone IPad"

They work best with IPhone. but my daughter tested with both laptop and android and both work fine - she tends to control the sound by the actual device not by the headphones themselves
