similar to leon the professional: absolutely nothing different from the original release. They can say it was mastered in 4k, but luc besson made some shots intentionally grainy and gritty. should have thought of that when I double dipped. Nothing improved. maybe some sound enhancements but even a side by side shows a slight difference making them shades darker to hide the grain. i prefer brighter. the preference is up to you

the original blu ray release was not great. there was some visibly horribly unfocused shots in the opening sequence and it looked like there was no effort made to improve them.
if you're buying this it's to just have a nice steelbook collection of daniel craig's bond.

A lot of people love Goldfinger and from Russia with love, but this film to me is the signature Bond Film. From the music to the story and action, this film was easily the blueprint for all future spyfilms and even austin powers.
The transfer is better than dvd but considering how old the film is, you can't expect much more of an improvement.

the weakest of daniel craig's bond

but this film aint all that bad. It's also one of the shorter Bond films with pure action. Out of all the action scenes, the opening chase sequence is one of the most memorable. I don't see a difference in video quality from the original release on blu ray, but the steel book adds a nice to the collection.

Evil Dead took a different approach with this film, and this is the definitive version out there. Disc has 3 different versions of the film. The transfer is not amazing but it is definitely an improvement above the past releases, but this was well worth the wait and I'm glad I didn't double dip on this.

I have a xbox one x and I am trying to set up the 4k on this monitor but im not sure why it wont go through. I am connected to HDMI port one with the cord that came with the one x and checked my xbox but is says monitor doesnt support. Please help.
that does sound odd, this monitor isn't made for high frame rate gaming though. It's made for more design work. I can tell you that i just returned mine to manufacturer after three months for random flickering, it appears to be a known issue. They just sent me a replacement, but no explanation of what was wrong with the original or if I'll experience it again. I kind of wish i stuck with the 2k ips dell.
