Purchased to cool a bedroom area for my son who works nights and has to sleep during hot, muggy Portland summers. It does a great job and could easily cool a room 3 times the size.
You do need to drain water from it every so often (once a month or so) if you use it in a high humidity area. The unit itself is rather large and does take up a decent amount of space.
Comes with everything you need to get up and running including the window mount. The BB description says it's not included but it is in fact in the box.
Overall 5 stars for this and time will tell how long it lasts since it's only used for 3 or 4 months a year.

I was debating between this and the PS 4 Pro. The deal maker for me was the ability of the One X to control my cable box. I plugged HDMI from the cable box into the One X IN port then HDMI out from the One X into my TV's HDMI port and after a few easy setup steps from within the One X settings, bam! One Guide demolishes the TV Guide offered on my Cable Box and everything works great!
One issue I had was I was getting black screens when watching TV or playing a game. After a little research I found it's best to use the HDMI cable that came with the One X. After replacing my high end HDMI cable with the included one, no black screen issues at all. When using the included cable use it as the one that runs from HDMI out on the One X to the TV input.
4K gaming is mind blowing. I have it hooked up to my 4K LG OLED TV and it's simply amazing. Not all games are 4K compatible yet but the ones that are = WOW! Sound is ran from my Sonos system and it sound as it should.
Very happy with the purchase and would buy again without a 2nd thought.

I decided to get this version over the one that includes the gaming remote as I purchased it for 4K video streaming and not for gaming.
The box is fast and snappy and everything runs smooth. One minor issue I was able to resolve was that Netflix video defaults to 5.1 sound so if you don;t have a 5.1 sound system you need to change the setting in Netflix every time you start a movie or show. The workaround is in the Shield's setting. Change the sound from surround to Stereo and the issue goes away.

Picked this up at a heavily discounted price due to bundling it with a LG OLED TV. Sound is much better than expected and bass from the sub is decent.
Setup is easy and took all of a few minutes to complete. As many have already stated, the unit is a looker! Sleek and sexy! Sound is better than other soundbars out there but not as good as a true home theater system. If you are putting this in a small to medium sized room you can't go wrong.

What can I say about this that the other reviews haven't already said? Not much! The TV picture is stunning! 4K content on this display will blow your mind!
Setup was a breeze and I also purchased an LG Soundbar to compliment the TV. The soundbar was heavily discounted due to TV bundling.
The only gripe I have is the remote. I do not like it at all but I have a Harmony remote that I'll use.
The blacks are 100% black and are deep! Colors flat out pop and brightness is great. Contrast is awesome on this TV. It looks great at any viewing angle.
Bottom line: But this now!

This is a nice remote that can easily handle a small home theater. I have a TV, Apple TV and Bose sound system setup and doing flawlessly with the remote. The only minor bummer is no backlight on the remote but I understand that would come at the expense of battery life.
Setup was easy via the Harmony app on my iPhone and only took a few minutes of time. If you have a fairly simple home theater setup then this remote deserves a look..

How often does the water need to drained from the unit?
Depends on the humidity in your area. The higher the humidity, the more frequently it will need to be drained. For me, once a month or so..
