Extremely basic entry model

It works and has 8 outlets which is nice, and it includes protection for phone/DSL users, but this model is missing a lot of features from higher end models, so I feel you're giving up quite a lot to get the admittedly very cheap price on this unit.
There's no Ethernet protection. There's no USB connection to your PC, so there's no way to have the computer know when it's running on battery power or to tell the PC how much battery power is left so that a soft shutdown or hibernation mode can be initiated automatically. It will just run until the battery is depleted and then suddenly power off in a potentially unsafe (for your data) way. The 450VA capacity is also very low which won't afford you much run time unless you have a very efficient computer or perhaps a laptop with its own internal battery.
For only a little more money, you can have a 650VA solution that addresses all of these shortcomings. All that said, I think I'd probably recommend using this particular model for things like video game systems, TV's, radios, or laptops, but not for anyone looking for something for a desktop PC.

Backlights don't stay on long enough in their effort to extend battery life. Keyboard has built in rechargeable battery so no AA or AAA batteries to swap out. This is either a good or bad thing depending on how you feel about that. I personally like it.
Size and weight are good. Keys feel a little strange at first if you're not used to these kind of keys. I miss having a real num pad, but that's to be expected on the size of this keyboard and with the included multi-touch capable touchpad.
Price seems a bit too high considering they have another Logitech model with similar features, but without the backlit keys, for a much lower price.
I recommend this keyboard for its features and function, especially for a home theater PC, but only if you buy it on sale. The features/improvements over the much cheaper model aren't going to be worth the price difference at regular price.

Works, but has lower rated capacity than the Canon brand battery. Also, I noticed while waiting in line to check out that the first one I grabbed off the shelf was visibly defective. The battery was visibly bulging out on the sides. It was puffed up enough that you could even feel the curvature though the plastic packaging. The battery is supposed to be flat. I doubt the bulging battery would have even fit in the camera. I pointed out the defective part to a sales associate and grabbed a different off the shelf. The second one I grabbed has been good with no problems so far during my wife's trip to Europe.

Doesn't feel like Final Fantasy

Doesn't feel much like any other Final Fantasy game I've ever played except for a few of the old tropes like chocobos and moogles tacked on & I've played most of them. Each combat area is pretty limited in size and there's a short pause between moving to each new area as it loads more data. Haven't gotten too far along yet. Not real sold on it yet but I'll give it some playtime. Recommended for colllectors of the series. Still undecided for everyone else.

It feels like an expansion to Fallout 3. More of the same. That's either good or bad, depending on how you liked Fallout 3. Personally I like it a lot, so this game suits me just fine.
One thing I found weird though is that they give you the game DVD but during install it ends up downloading the whole game from Steam anyway. What's the disc for? I could have just bought it from Steam if that's the case. Good thing I changed internet providers and no longer have a data cap, because it was somewhere around a 25GB download.

Will this work with my desk top computer? I'm not wanting to control a tv, just wanting to be able to see my keyboard better.
Yes. You can plug it in via USB with the supplied cables, or use the included wireless USB adapter, or you can connect with Bluetooth if your PC has that feature.

Where do I install a new battery in the keyboard? Or how do I recharge it? Mine has stopped working.
The keyboard came with a USB cable and a USB extension adapter for purposes of using this keyboard in USB mode as well as charging the built in battery. This cable plugs into the micro USB type B connector on the top edge of the keyboard. The other end can plug into a PC or any cell phone charger that has a USB type A connector on it. If you don't have the cable for whatever reason, you should be able to buy and use any micro USB cable off the shelf. Look for Android cell phone data/charging cables as a place to start shopping.
