Good Outlet Features, Not very sturdy

This outlet works very well and has plenty of plug room that is appropriately spaced out. The USB ports are great too, adding an additional 2 plug options (that don't require large plug blocks).
The side plugs (3 each side) swivel too to allow cords from the side or front, but click into place when you want it to stay facing forward.
One issue I have is it is not very sturdy and will pull out of the outlet if you don't hold it with your other hand while unplugging something from it. A good product fix would be to have it screw into the outlet. Also it only plugs into one outlet in a standard two outlet wall jack.
I have not had any issue with this but you should be aware of the power/amp draw since you are only technically using 1/2 of the available capacity and may cause something to trip the circuit prematurely.
All in all it is a good product for a good price compared to the alternatives, and it looks good on the wall (not a big blocky eyesore. My only issue is that is pulls out of the wall if you are not holding it while unplugging a cord (only a real problem if you have something that can't/shouldn't be unplugged like Alexa or a TV Cable box that resets when it loses power)

Good Portable HD, very good price

I was looking to replace my aging portable hard drive and looking for 1tb or larger. This one fit the size and had good reviews for a sub 60 price. I am in the process of transferring files from my old HD to this one. The reason for the switch is the connection on the old HD is failing. The new WD portable HD works great and the setup/install was quick and easy. This was an easier option to replacing the enclosure for the old HD

Are you looking to replace it or add a second portable hard drive? They should work independently of each other. If you are transferring files from one to the other it doesn't matter the brand. You would be going through a computer to make the transfer and have to plug them both in.

Yes there is an on off button on the bottom.
You have to hold it in and the light will go out when it shuts off.
It's a good idea to preserve battery life.
But you have to turn it back on to use, (it won't shut off or start up on it's own)

Mouse not working
Mouse wont connect
I had a similar problem with my HP 3000 mouse.
After a couple months the laptop stopped reading the mouse. Even switching batteries did not help.
Probably a problem that you will have to return to resolve.
