Peter Criss' solo KISS album is the least KISS like and one that drifts the furthest from the state of Rock Music in 1978. In fact this album is an homage to the early Rock n' Roll of the 50's. The album is awash in R&B, which is a disappointment for most KISS fans. Don't You Let Me Down is nice crooner song, but otherwise it's a missed opportunity for the 'Catman' who sang KISS Klassics Nothin' To Lose and Hard Luck Woman. And while the album let's me down overall, I would recommend it on the basis it's something different from the standard KISS fair.

Gene Simmons' KISS solo album is a mix of rock and pop and includes a take on a Disney Classic. While Paul Stanley's is the most consistent and Ace Frehley's rocks the hardest, Gene's solo effort mixes Beatlesque pop with stabs at hard rock. The single Radioactive being the best mix of both genres. I'm a big KISS fan, and this album falls in between Rock n' Roll Over and Unmasked, in terms of the musical landscape. I like the album, but it's not the best of solo albums.
The dynamic between Sandra Bullock and Melissa McCarthy was much funnier than I expected. McCarthy carries the comedy while Bullock plays the straight part very well. Kinda of the female version of "The Other Guys"!

I'd been a Windows user for 25 years, and we needed a new PC. So since we all have iPhones/Pods/Touches I thought we'd try a Mac. I have to say it is a great computer and I have easily figured out all the nuances of the Apple OS. I highly recommend this Mac, and couldn't be happier.
