Three close cousins are torn apart by tragedy as gang warfare sends their lives spiraling in different directions in this urgent melodrama from Taylor Hackford, director of The Devil's Advocate (1997). Presented in the original 1.66:1 widescreen aspect ratio and featuring closed-captioned English Dolby Digital Surround Audio, follow these three as they desperately attempt to right the wrongs of the past and escape the horrors of their past. Included in this release is "The Making of Blood in, Blood Out."

Stan Lathan's inner-city drama Beat Street comes to DVD with a pair of transfers. The widescreen anamorphic transfer preserves the original theatrical aspect ratio of 1.85:1 and is preferable to the standard full-frame image. A closed-captioned English soundtrack is rendered in Dolby Digital Surround, while a Spanish soundtrack has been recorded in Dolby Digital Mono. English, Spanish, and French subtitles are accessible. Supplemental materials include the original theatrical trailer. This is an inexpensive release from MGM/UA.
