These speakers sound very good under an our outdoor patio. I paired them with a Sonos amp, and they are loud enough to fill the patio and back yard. The low end on these speakers are a bit lacking, but they do sound good for the price.

weather resistant volume contorls

I am splicing two speakers into our home's surround sound, running the speaker wire up into the attic and down the outside of our home and mounted on our pergola (see attached picture). I want to install a volume control on one of the pergola posts but it needs to be weather proof. Whant should I buy?

The Sonos amp worked great for my outdoor patio. Also, it is very convenient to run everything using my phone while sitting outside.
