At this point Michael Bay is clearly not interested in making these movies, and it often shows. However the hour or so where Anthony Hopkins takes center stage in the narrative is the most enjoyable the series has been since the first film. A fine showcase for your home theater, but if Hopkins isn't around don't expect much.

Amazing experience...for a few minutes.

Obviously anyone who has ever played Skyrim probably said they "practically lived there" or something along those lines, so making it a VR game is a no-brainer. And while it's amazing to be able to look around and take in your surroundings, two things dampen the experience and will likely keep you from playing for hours on end the way the game usually inspires you to do. One is that the motion sickness I got is worse in this than other VR games I've played; after ten minutes I was woozy whereas I can usually last a half hour or so.
The other is that the lower resolution for the graphics, customary in PSVR titles, is much more noticeable due to the fact that this is a game we've all played. At times it looks even worse than the last-gen non-VR version of the same, let alone the enhanced upgrades for PS4/X1. So while you're "inside" the world, it's also a world that looks cruddier than the one that made you want to go there to begin with.
Control works fine and the entire game (plus the DLC) is accounted for, so it's not a stripped down version or anything, but I would truly be amazed if someone were to be able to complete even one major quest line, let alone the entire game, in VR mode, which makes it a tough sell at full price. I wish they could have taken a cue from RE7 and made it playable without VR so new players could at least enjoy the game the normal way if the VR proved to be too much.

Roadster Racers makes me appreciate Clubhouse

I thought this show was just annoying nonsense, but no, that's what its replacement Roadster Racers is. Clubhouse may be simple (and the animation pales to RR), but at least it a. teaches kids some basic stuff like shapes and problem solving, and b. tells full 25 minute stories, whereas RR has two 10-11 minute segments, one of which doesn't even have the cars.
So if they're weeding Clubhouse out to replace it with the inferior RR, I'd pick up the DVDs sooner than later. We parents know this show can be a godsend when it comes to needing the kid to sit and be quiet for a bit :)

I got this and one other Ninjago because they were on sale and among the only Dimension sets I didn't have (which were all Ninjago characters). As anyone who plays the game knows, you just need one of them (Sensei Wu is the most popular) to unlock the world and use the few Ninjago related devices to obtain bricks/roulettes, so completism is the only reason to get Nya. That said, the mech vehicle is cool and kind of fun to put together, so there's something.

Great price, but doesn't save you any room

Usually these boxed sets are great because they come in a slimmer package and you can save some shelf space. But if anything this actually takes up MORE space because the box casing just holds the five normal blu-rays. So I docked it a point for that, but it's otherwise great if you're a fan of the films, and you really can't go wrong at 14.99 (even if you already had one or two of them it's a great deal).

Personally I don't think Sixx AM will ever top Heroine Diaries Soundtrack but these last two have been their best since, and it's nice to have both volumes together and listen back to back (especially with the two title tracks being a sort of yin and yang). The cover of Badfinger's "Without You" continues the tradition of most of the covers being better than the original, as well.

Transfers and extras are fine, and identical to the DVD boxed set from the '00s - but why they dropped Omen IV is beyond me. Sure it's not very good, but neither is the remake and that's here. Very weird and annoying to do a boxed set and skip over an entry. I assume because it was a TV movie they didn't want to (or couldn't) upgrading it to high-def, but they could have just thrown in a DVD copy so we could still have the whole collection in the box.

Solid, if inessential album

Jimmy's last album Damages was underrated as it was a little more mellow than usual. This one returns to a faster sound (it reminds me a lot of Futures, actually), and is perfectly enjoyable, but I don't see myself wearing out my CD anytime soon. Not that there's anything wrong with that after seven albums, but if you're a casual fan there's nothing essential here.
