As a owner and power user of the Surface Pro the Surface Pro 3 is a big step up for me. I use OneNote daily for work and personal note taking. Having this device keeps me from have to take books and binders around. The larger screen is better for Excel and Word, than the previous Surface Pro. I found myself only being able to read documents versus create and edit. This is my laptop replacement.
I did have to take the first one back due to some issues with the screen.
