I've used Geeks to install all of our appliances and they are very efficient and friendly. Two guys came out and had the Bosch dishwasher up and running in what seemed like 30 mins. I just wish they didn't make me buy the install kit every time I put in a dishwasher.

This is more a review of the REASON I had to purchase this instead of the product itself. I see no reason to replace this part every time you buy a new dishwasher other than to make me spend more money. The other kit was only a couple of years old when the Maytag dishwasher died...but we still needed to purchase this for the Bosch we bought. I'm calling foul play on this. The Bosch had it's own "Euro" power supply and hoses shouldn't go bad in 2 years.

After only a few weeks of use, this little guy seems to be pretty solid. It is small enough to fit in a pantry without having it up front in your kitchen on the counter. It heats up a cold cup of coffee, warms a plate pretty efficiently and pops popcorn with no burning. I haven't really been inspired to learn all of the cook settings, but I assume they work just as advertised. If it lasts a few years I'll be happy with this one because of the price and compact size.

Wash more, work less. This Bosch dishwasher has enough space for 16 place settings, and the racks can be positioned in up to 9 different ways. Fit more dishes into each load, even bulky cookware or fragile stemware, for a faster clean up.

After reading reviews and talking with friends and neighbors that own this unit, we were happy to try out Bosch. We were hoping to get more than 2 years out of a dishwasher so we upgraded to this after wasting our time with a Maytag. The seal on a pump started leaking and it wasn't worth repairing.
The Bosch is SUPER solid and quiet. The controls are very intuitive and the stainless steel is top notch. (So far after only a few weeks of use)
The reason for not giving it 5 stars is the way you load dishes into the racks. It's so awkward! There's no efficient way to load this thing. There's no rhyme or reason to the flip up racks, the section that holds the glasses is oddly distributed and the bottom rack is every bit the same. The section for what I assume is bowls won't hold a cereal bowl. The only thing that fits on the bottom are plates and wide, shallow bowls. We have to put the small soup bowls on the top rack with the glasses...which leaves you less room for glasses! The tippy-top rack is pretty handy for spatulas, tongs, big spoons etc.
So, if they could put some of that super solid engineering into coming up with a more efficient way to load this thing (even Maytag got that part right!) then I would give it 6 stars!

How does this work for reheating pizza? Does it get chewy and gross like in a traditional microwave?
My opinion on pizza in a microwave is that they all make it chewy and gross. I do own this unit, but I would either eat it cold or put it in the toaster oven (if you have one).
