This camera system setup in just minutes. It does support all 6 cameras, but you need to delete un wanted recorded video to keep space available for new recordings. Our only complaint is that we wish the range was a bit better. I wish the motion detection was a little further out to help pickup activity around our house and lessen the need for more cameras. The camera itself shows the picture further away, but doesn't start recording until the detection picks up, which is much closer... so even with this number of cameras we have some uncovered areas... we may add more cameras in the future. It was nice to not have to run wires as we have done with some previous systems.

We purchased this for our parents. It was overall fairly easy to install. They are using it as a stand alone DVR system without hookup to a computer. We wish it was a bit easier to use like a regular DVR with a remote ( instead of a mouse interface ) . They are able to turn it on and see what is currently in camera view. It is not easy for them to do a play back on their own as they are not comfortable with a mouse/computer type interface. A remote with simple menu options would be an easier interface for them to use and understand. In the mean time they can rely on others to help them if needed to see playback.
It does do a good job. The cameras are very clear and show what is in the area day or night. It is clear on even a smaller HD tv. For us the unit would have been a great choice as we are comfortable with computer/mouse type interface.

I love this broom vac. It was bought to replace an older model Electrolux broom vac that had finally died after many years of use. As before, it is great for quick use, daily cleaning of our floors. We have dogs that shed and parakeets that regularly spread seed surrounding their cage. This newer model does a great job and manuevers even better than the old model EL1030a that I had. The old one was great on hard surface floors but difficult to use on any area rugs I have on the hard surfaces. This newer model seems to practically float on the hard surfaces and with only a little effort also does a nice job on the area rugs. I still keep an old larger vacuum for occasional deep cleaning, but this one is great for staying after everything daily without the hassle of a bulky machine. I also like that I can use it in the cars for quick clean ups or take it with me if needed for quick clean ups after meetings or events away from home. The battery life so far is also great like my old one was.
