Good for day to day; minimal upkeep
on March 20, 2024
Posted by: cw77
I found the X10 to be a fairly good mid-range 2in1 robot vac. One nice feature is that you can tell it to vac, mop, or vac & mop without having to reconfigure the physical robot, provided you keep up with the water tank levels. My previous 2in1 required you to add an attachment whenever you wanted to mop, and that would make it mop only - no vac. But my favorite feature is that it will automatically switch between vac & mop modes whenever it encounters a carpeted surface. As soon as it detects carpet, it simply lifts the mop heads up several millimeters so they aren’t touching the surface. No need to spend (way too much) time ‘defining’ carpeted areas on a map in the app.
Default vacuuming performance is more than acceptable for day to day upkeep. If you’re looking for a bit more performance, you can easily tweak the vacuum settings to have it increase suction and/or make multiple passes. It also has a self-emptying function, which moves debris from the robot into a collection bag in the base unit. Eufy claims you’ll only have to replace this every 2 months with ‘typical’ use. I’m normally not a big fan of base units with a bag, as opposed to a reusable bin, but I can live with it if I only have to replace it every couple of months.
Most will probably find the mopping performance to be fine for everyday cleaning, but you’ll still have to break out a hand/stick mop every so often to really get the edges. But that’s been typical for every mopping robot I’ve used. My biggest complaint is that you can usually see the tire tracks, in the right light. This could simply be something with our floor/lighting, but thought it was worth mentioning. I’m still playing with the mopping settings, and water to cleaner (it doesn’t include a sample bottle of cleaner either??) mixture, so hopefully I’ll find a combination that doesn’t leave tracks.
Object detection is quite good, and the robot had no troubles identifying & avoiding random cords and fake dog ‘presents’.
Sound levels are also impressive. I don’t know that you’d want it running in the same room while you’re having a conversation or watching TV, but I certainly didn’t find it annoyingly loud. Even when it goes through a self-emptying operation, it wasn’t horrible. Not nearly as loud as my iRobot is. You’ll probably barely notice the mop drying operation.
The app is okay, but has a few shortcomings. It has a tab where you can quickly identify a ‘Zone’ to clean, but it doesn’t let you save that Zone for later use or scheduling. However, you can create a Scenario that also uses Zones, but any Zone you identify in that Scenario only lives in that Scenario. In practical use, this means you can’t do something like schedule the robot to clean up along the counters every day after dinner time, or clean up around the litter box every day. Hopefully they’ll enhance this in future versions.

Cool looking powerhouse!
on February 4, 2024

For starters, the JBL Authentics 300 is a beautiful speaker. The retro look really works, and the speaker has a very solid feel to it. The materials JBL chose have a good, quality feel to them, and the fit & finish is impressive.
The JBL One app made it fairly easy to get the speaker connected to wifi. It did take a couple of tries, but I may have just been impatient the first time. It also walks you through setting up Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant. Not only can you use either assistant, but this speaker will actually let you use both at the same time, if you so choose. This could be handy if you have some services that work better with Alexa, and some that work better with Google. There’s also a convenient switch on the back that will disable the microphone. I find this particularly useful when you have that one annoying guest that's constantly telling/asking Alexa/Google something.
The controls on top are fine. I’d prefer a bit more tactile feedback when turning the controls, especially the volume control. There’s a light ring around the controls that indicate the level, but I think it would be better if the controls also had a little ‘click’ feel to them. Not a big deal, more of a personal preference. Speaking of controls, there are also dials for bass & treble, but nothing for the mids. However, you are able to adjust the mids using the JBL One app.
There’s also a ‘Moment’ feature button on the unit that I thought was promising, but it was a big let down. It’s supposed to be a one press button that will automatically start your favorite music playlist, with additional options of presetting the volume & automatic stop time, if you’d like. However, it only works with a handful of services, which don’t include SiriusXM or Spotify, which are my primary music services. So, this ended up being a useless feature for me. Hopefully JBL rectifies this with a future update…
Sound quality is good. Not necessarily mind blowing, but definitely better than your average $100-$200 bluetooth speaker. Bass is fairly impressive, and treble is really good, but mids are so-so. You can definitely fill a room with decent sound, and the sound quality holds fairly well as the volume increases. Soundstage isn’t too bad either, with minimal directionalness.
Battery life is very impressive, and shouldn’t have any trouble living up to the advertised 8 hour life. I’m into hour 7 of wifi streaming, at about 30% volume, and the battery level is at 25%. Nice! Obviously, this won’t hold true at higher volumes, but still impressive.
Overall, I’m quite happy with the JBL Authentics 300. Once summer rolls back into town, I can easily see this speaking being a fixture whenever we’re out in the backyard.

Talented dashcam, but some features "coming soon"
on December 17, 2023
Posted by: cw77
The first thing to be aware of is this camera does NOT connect to your normal USB or 12v car outlets - you either connect it to your car's OBD port, or hardwire it to your fuse box.
The second thing you need to know is that the iQ requires a monthly subscription if you want to take advantage of most features. Without a subscription, you can only get Voice Commands and text-only (no image) notifications on your phone app. Their $10/month Protect plan gives you access to most of the advanced features, so this is probably what most users would choose. To be honest, if you’re not going to pony up for one of their monthly plans, then I’d recommend you look at a different dashcam, as you’d be overpaying for features that you won’t be using.
You should also know that when you’re going through the setup wizard, and it gets to the part where it shows you a live view of the camera so you can position it on your windshield, there was a significant delay which made it a challenge to place the camera. Also, if you go past the live view setup step, thinking you can restart it later, you can’t. Unless of course you’ve paid for the subscription, which enables live view, but there will still be the delay.
There’s a bit of a delay when trying to access the recording library from your phone, but nothing major, and it’s actually improved with the updates that have been pushed out so far. Once you get a clip opened up, the app has a section that will show you the GPS location of where the clip was recorded, along with the current & max speeds. GPS location is also displayed for any SmartSense Parking events that have been recorded.
Voice Commands (which are thankfully not a paid feature) are occasionally handy and can be used to do things like start/stop Witness mode, start/stop audio recording, start/stop all recording, start/stop Privacy mode (which turns on/off the audio recording and cabin camera), and protect a section of footage so that it doesn’t automatically get overwritten.
Some advertised features, such as Guardian Mode and Roadwatch A.I. aren’t available yet. I haven’t had this type of experience with Nextbase before, but it wouldn’t be the first time a company has advertised a cool feature and then didn’t deliver until WELL after (if ever) you’d already made the purchase. So, if these two features are what really caught your eye, I’d keep in mind that they aren’t currently available. I’ve had the iQ for about 6 weeks & they’re still not available yet. The only info I could find on their website is that those features are “coming soon”.
If you’re just looking for basic video recording to help back you up if you’re in a minor accident, there are cheaper options that will suffice. If you frequently leave your car in remote parking areas, or want a little peace of mind when your new driver hits the road alone, the iQ is the ticket.

Flexible scheduling, easy map setup, good performa
on November 2, 2023
Posted by: cw77
Initial setup was quick and easy, with no issues getting the j9 connected to my wifi. After a quick software/firmware update, it was ready to go. Aside from plugging the base in, there was nothing to assemble, and they didn’t overload the vac/base with annoying stickers that needed to be removed.
Let it charge for a bit & then send it on a mapping run. The mapping run took about 20 minutes or so for our 1100 sq ft main floor. Once complete, it tries to identify the different rooms of your home, and it does a fairly good job. I only had to adjust a couple of them. Making adjustments to rooms is very easy, and MUCH easier than with one of their competitors. Instead of having to draw a ‘box’ to identify a room, you simply add a room divider. Boom. Simple. It even makes a guess at the room names, which it was okay at, but I needed to adjust those a bit more. Then you can add ‘Keep Out’ and ‘Clean’ Zones. Keep Out is, well, duh… A Clean Zone is just an area that you want the j9 to pay extra attention to, like in front of the kitchen counters. Overall, the mapping process is super easy!
Scheduling is also very flexible. Much more flexible than a competing product that I have. You can schedule the entire house, specific rooms, Clean Zones, or even a combination of room(s) and Clean Zones. You can run multiple schedules per day, as long as you allow a minimum of 3 hours between scheduled times. You can even alter the suction and number of passes (1 or 2) for each schedule. Very nice!
Noise while vacuuming isn’t too bad, around 65dB, but it jumps up to 80+ when the vac docks and empties its dustbin via the Clean Base feature. It’s definitely loud, so run your schedules accordingly.
Speaking of the Clean Base feature, the base uses old school type vacuum bags, as opposed to a simple canister that can just be emptied. The bags seem rather small, so I’m not sure how often they’ll need to be replaced, but iRobot branded bags are anywhere from $15-$20 for a three pack. Depending on how often you need to replace the bag, this could add up. Not a fan of that particular design. Definitely prefer the competitors design that just uses a dustbin & washable filter.
Cleaning performance is pretty good in open areas, but only so-so along walls/counters/etc… I put some flour down against the kitchen cabinets and it left about a 1 inch path next to the cabinet when I told it to hit this as a ‘Clean Zone’, but it did get it all when it ran through as a ‘room’ cleaning. Seems a bit backwards to me, but whatever.
Overall, if this vac is one in your price range, it’s really hard to beat.

The Detect Pro robot vacuum is powered by 3 deep-cleaning technologies that enable the robot to maximize performance by sensing mess level, floor type, and edges & corners. DirtDetect sees even the hidden debris and automatically increases suction and cleaning passes to remove the mess on carpets and hardfloors. Now with NeverStuck technology, this robot will navigate around obstacles AND lift itself up and over thresholds and onto thick carpets. Not only can the robot deep clean, but you also do not have to worry about it getting stuck. Detect Pro finishes the cleaning mission every time and with each clean will empty itself into its bagless base that contains a HEPA Anti-Allergen Seal trapping dust & allergens inside. The odor neutralizer technology will also ensure the odor is trapped in the base for a fresher smelling home and making it the ultimate end to end solution for pet hair pick up.

Convenient daily cleaner
on October 13, 2023
Posted by: cw77
Setup was quick & easy. First mapping run took about 15 minutes or so and seemed fairly accurate.
Struggled a bit adding multiple no-go zones to the map. I’d add a 2nd one, but it would disappear after saving & coming back into the map. It did eventually add the 2nd one, so maybe I was just moving through too fast or something. The no-go zones only go as small as about 2.7 feet by 2.7 feet, so you might have to play around if you have a need for smaller zones that may be adjacent to an area that needs to be cleaned.
Scheduling lets you select any day of the week, along with a single time period for each day, but it still won’t let you schedule specific rooms - it’s the whole house or nothing. This would be convenient to have the robot clean a home office every Saturday (when you’re not in there), but the rest of the house (excluding the office) M-F. If you happen to have multiple Shark vacuums, the app will let you have separate schedules for each vacuum.
Alexa integration works fine. I was able to just have ‘Alexa ask Shark to start <robot name>’ and it started cleaning right away. Asking it to clean a specific room bombed out though.
Does a fair job of avoiding pet toys and random cords on the floor. Fortunately, I haven’t had the opportunity to see how well it avoids pet ‘messes’...
Everyday cleaning performance is fine. Not spectacular, but more than acceptable considering it’s pretty self-sufficient. Did a little test with sugar & flour; handled the sugar just fine but struggled with the flour. The ‘DirtDetect’ feature did sense the sugar, so it increased suction & made an extra pass, as advertised.
The ‘NeverStuck’ technology has also worked well, so far. It’s managed to avoid/escape a few specific areas that have sometimes trapped a few other robot vacuum cleaners, so props there.
Overall, it might be a good choice if you don’t need super flexible scheduling & don’t want to drop an extra 3 bills to get into one of the main competitions' units. Robot vacs, in general, aren’t cheap, but they can be SO convenient.

Great looks, but limited smarts…
on June 21, 2023
Posted by: cw77
Easily one of the best looking watches I’ve ever owned. Classic, timeless look, with just a subtle nod towards being a ‘smart’ watch.
The e-ink type background works extremely well in bright sunlight, probably better than any other smartwatch I’ve ever owned, but it definitely struggles when the lights go down. You can (usually - it is somewhat hit and miss for me) activate an ‘old-school’ type backlight with a double-tap of the watch face, but it’s not overly effective; it helps, but my eyes still have trouble reading the screen.
Speaking of the screen, the fonts are pretty small, and offer very little options to increase the size. If you normally wear reading glasses, you’ll probably struggle with this display, particularly when it comes to reading any notifications that come across. I don’t wear glasses on a regular basis, and only wear reading glasses occasionally, and I sometimes struggle reading the display. This is even more pronounced in low-light situations.
Battery life is very impressive. I’ve been wearing the watch constantly (excluding shower time) for over two weeks now and the battery is at 36%. Based on that, it should easily surpass the promised 18 day battery life, which is also a welcome departure from the usual over-promise & under-deliver for most battery estimates.
Speaking of shower time, I’m really disappointed that this watch is only ‘Splash Resistant’ rated. Given that this watch is advertised as a “Sport” smart watch, the lack of a more robust water resistance rating is a huge miss on their part. Factor in the price of the watch & this is almost unacceptable.
As for sport functions, it does have workout tracking, albeit somewhat limited. It offers choices for run, walk, hike, treadmill, bike, spinning, weights, row machine, elliptical, and a generic workout option. It seems to use GPS (if connected to your phone) to track distance for walking (and I assume the other non-stationary workout types) activities, but it doesn’t track your route. Not really a big deal to me, but something to be aware of if you typically go back and look at your routes. The other fitness tracking aspect that I was disappointed in was the heart rate monitoring. It will report on your average, and max, but doesn’t report on the amount of time in each zone.
The Smart YouQ app (at least for Android) is still a work in progress, but I do know that they’re working to improve it. If you have the patience, and the commitment, to take the requisite Alert Check tests at the prescribed times of the day, it will eventually populate with various insights. I’ve added a few screenshots that may help illustrate some of the insights.
Overall, it’s a beautiful watch, with great battery life. If you’re looking for a classy watch, with limited smart functionality, you’ll probably be happy with it. However, and it pains me to say this because I LOVE how it looks & the battery life, it just doesn’t satisfy my needs for a smart watch, so I couldn’t recommend it to a friend.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Small but mighty
on June 19, 2023
Posted by: cw77
This laptop is NOT a 2-in-1 tablet style. It’s still a touchscreen, but you can’t fold the display back and use it like a tablet. Personally, I rarely use my 2-in-1 laptops as a tablet (that’s why I have an actual tablet), but you should be aware nonetheless.
The laptop only has two ports, which are both USB-C. No audio, USB-A, HDMI, or Ethernet ports. However, it does include two adapters; one USB-C to Audio and one USB-C to USB-A. I don’t know anyone that still uses the audio jack, but the lack of USB-A might be an inconvenience at times. That said, if I’m going to be using a laptop with an external monitor, I’ll typically also have a USB-C hub connected anyway, so the lack of an HDMI port isn’t really a huge deal. If you have several peripherals, make sure to pick up a USB-C hub, if you don’t already have one.
There’s no privacy shutter for the camera, which is something I think they missed on. It does have a light that illuminates (which is rather distracting) when the camera is in use, but I’d rather have a physical cover.
It has a fingerprint scanner embedded in the unmarked power button. Unexpected bonus there.
The trackpad is pretty much in the normal spot for a laptop, but there are no visual clues as to what section of the laptop body it actually occupies. Makes it a bit awkward to figure out how/where to right-click sometimes. It’s pretty much dead center, between the left side of the spacebar and the right edge of the opposite ALT key. Not a big deal, and I’m already getting used to the location, but thought it was worth mentioning.
Function keys are on a capacitive touch section at the top of the keyboard, and the icons will change depending on if you have the ‘fn’ key selected. Interesting approach, and it gives me my much needed home & end keys. It does take a little getting used to, as there’s no tactile feedback when the key is pressed, so your brain doesn’t really immediately register the keypress. Not sold on this concept yet, but at least I get my home & end keys.
The display is nice, with minimal bezel chewing up much needed space for information. Given the small laptop size, display real estate is at a premium, so the small bezel size is a must. However, by default it was set to a ridiculously high resolution (3456x2160) and 300% scaling. Not sure what they’re thinking there, so I dropped the resolution down a bit, and I can now see more information than before.
Speakers are fine. Nothing to get excited about, but better than I’d expected from a 13 inch laptop.
Performance is quite impressive for how small and light this is. With 32GB of RAM, an Intel i7 processor that tops out at 5GHz, and a 1TB SSD this has been able to handle everything I’ve thrown at it, from 700k row spreadsheets to light photo editing. And it does it all without scalding your lap…

Very nice keyboard/mouse combo!
on May 30, 2023
Posted by: cw77
The MX Keys S (keyboard) and MX Master 3S (mouse) both use the newer Logi Bolt Receiver, which uses a different protocol than the older Unifying Receiver, so they’re not compatible with any older Unifying Receivers you may have lying around. In that same respect, any older Logitech devices you may have that used the Unifying Receiver, will not work with the new Logi Bolt Receiver. That being said, I also tried connecting both via Bluetooth, and didn’t have any trouble, however I did notice that there’s a slight delay when switching to a device that’s connected via bluetooth. The biggest thing to note about the connectivity is that a bluetooth connection won’t work if you need to do anything in BIOS, whereas a Bolt connection will.
I could immediately tell that this keyboard is a huge improvement over the Logitech K375 that it’s replacing. Probably not a fair comparison, given the price difference, but if you spend a significant amount of time behind the keyboard, spend the extra $$. It has a nice, solid feel to it. It also has a nice weight, and isn’t going to be sliding all over your desk when you don’t want it to. The keys have a good, crisp feel to them with just enough noise that you know you’re doing something, but not so much that everyone in the house/office can almost follow along.
Keyboard features include dedicated keys to switch between up to three devices. One of which I used to pair my keyboard and mouse to my Samsung tablet. The F1-F12 keys can be locked to the old school functions, or be used for pre-programmed functions that control brightness, keyboard backlighting, mic mute, media controls, and a quick emoji selector. Using Logitech Options+, you can also change these keys to do many other things if you so desire. It also has keys dedicated to a calculator, screen snip, <something>, and Windows lock. Very convenient!
The mouse has a nice feel to it, but I’ve been a trackball user for several years, so I’m still adjusting. The electro-magnetic scroll wheel is amazing though! I have a few spreadsheets that have several thousand rows (a couple with over 500k), and the weighted scroll wheel makes scrolling through those SO much easier! It also has a horizontal scroll, which is great in spreadsheets as well. My biggest complaint about the mouse is that the Easy Switch button, to switch your mouse between different devices, is located on the bottom of the mouse. If you switch back and forth several times throughout the day, it is much more convenient (like with their MX Ergo trackball) if the button was on top. I can only hope that Logitech will see fit to let you remap one of the more accessible buttons (or even a gesture) to the EasySwitch function, but as of now, this is not possible.
Battery life has been decent so far; better than expected for the keyboard. I was able to get about two week’s worth of typical business use, with the keyboard backlight at default (auto brightness; 30 second timeout) settings, out of a full charge. The mouse is still at 80%.
Overall a great combo. 5 stars if you could remap the EasySwitch function to another button.

Looks amazing, but there are better performers...
on May 7, 2023

One thing I loved about this speaker was the overall look and feel. It has a classic rock and roll kind of vibe going on, and would look great in your garage, man cave, or just about anywhere really. The solidly built case has a very nice leather (no, it isn’t real leather - the Stanmore is actually made with 70% recycled plastic and only vegan materials if that’s important to you) look and feel to it, with a cloth speaker cover that has a gold Marshall logo front and center. The metal power toggle switch screams power & practicality begs you to turn it on!
I think the sound quality is fairly good. My son thought it was a little ‘boomie’, but he’s always been more sensitive to bass frequencies than most people I know, so take that with a grain of salt. The sound stage is a bit directional, but it’s acceptable considering the form factor. Will it “chase you around the room” as the marketing suggests, definitely not, but it does okay.
The app is pretty basic, but that kind of goes along with the overall theme of the speaker anyway, so I’d say that’s a good thing. You can control the bass, treble, and volume. The red LED’s on the physical control panel change along with any changes you make in the app, so that’s a nice touch as well. Other than that, it can control (pause, play, etc…) the music you’re streaming, and facilitate firmware updates.
The physical control panel lets you change inputs (bluetooth, aux & RCA), bass, treble, rewind/pause/play/forward (if using the bluetooth input), and the previously mentioned massive power toggle. Speaking of the power toggle, it seems backwards in my opinion, as you pull it towards you (down in relation to the text) to turn the unit on. Maybe that’s just me though.
I think the biggest miss for the Stanmore is its lack of wifi. For a speaker approaching $400, I’d expect wifi capabilities. The inability to ‘cast’ music from my Spotify or SiriusXM app is a big let down, and coupled with the price, is probably why I couldn’t recommend this speaker to my friends. Seriously, who doesn’t hate it when you’re listening to some tunes with friends, then whoever happens to be connected to the bluetooth speaker walks to another area and the music starts cutting out. Party foul.
Overall, if your primary goal is to achieve a retro rock & roll aesthetic, then the Stanmore is the way to go. If you want functionality & performance, there are better options in this price range.

Very little bloatware. Doesn’t come preloaded with 3rd party antivirus, relying instead on built-in Windows Defender, which is nice in my opinion. I get tired of manufacturers preloading a bunch of garbage.
The ASUS TUF laptop is actually a few ounces heavier than my previous MSI gaming laptop, yet somehow it feels lighter.
Design is kinda cool and reminds me of Transformers or Halo or something a little futuristic, but not obscenely so. They didn’t go crazy with colors like some others do, with only one little bit of color on one of the feet.
The backlit keyboard has a narrow number pad and dedicated volume up & down buttons, as well as one to mute the mic. It has a Home key, but you have to press FN key to use End, PgUp, and PgDn keys.
Screen bezel is minimal at about a quarter of an inch on the top, and just under a quarter of an inch on the sides. It really seems to disappear as you’re gaming or working. It also has a matte finish, so you don’t have to contend with a lot of glare.
Speakers are average, at best.
The left side of the laptop body has a barrel power connector, Ethernet, HDMI, headphone, USB-A, and two USB-C ports, which can also be used to power the laptop. Two power methods is a nice feature. The right side of the laptop body has a single USB-A port.
No issues with performance. I have only tried a couple of games, but it had no issues with Flight Simulator.
Overall, I really like this Asus TUF laptop. It definitely looks, and feels, better than my previous laptop. It’ll surely be my new go-to when I need to be away from my desktop.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Coffeehouse Versatility meets Pod Convenience with the Ninja DualBrew Pro Specialty Coffee System. Included 12-cup, double-walled thermal carafe is perfect for both hot and over-ice beverages, with an ergonomic handle and spout allow for easy control of pouring. Tackle grounds and pods with 9 grounds brew sizes from small cup to full carafe, and 4 pod brew sizes from 6 to 12 ounces. Brews a coffee pod faster than a leading Keurig coffee maker upon startup. With Thermal Flavor Extraction DUO technology, perfect flavor for grounds and pods is delivered with even saturation and precise temperature control for ultra-flavorful coffee. Separate from the coffee system is a dedicated hot water line. Using a separate line eliminates flavor contamination and delivers clean water. 2 temperature settings, hot and boil, allow you to make tea, hot cocoa, instant soups, and oatmeal. Brew a super-rich coffee concentrate that you can use to create delicious lattes, macchiatos, cappuccinos, and other coffeehouse-style drinks. Use the built-in, fold-away frother to transform hot or cold milk/milk-alternatives into silky-smooth froth in seconds. Top your Specialty brew with frothed milk for a coffeehouse-style drink. The frother is also removable for easy cleaning. Choose from one of four different brew styles; classic or rich for a traditional hot cup of coffee, over ice for an iced coffee that's never diluted, or specialty to make a cappuccino or latte. Clean function, dishwasher-safe parts, removable Ninja pod adaptor and frother allow you to easily deep clean your unit.

The choice is yours. Whether you prefer making single cups of coffee with *K-Cup pods or full-sized carafes from coffee grounds, the nutribullet Brew Choice Pod + Carafe has the goods to brew both. Just insert your *K-Cup pod or filter, and the machine’s Brew Sense Technology will automatically adjust its display to match, giving you options to brew a 6, 8, or 10oz cup of *K-Cup coffee, or a 6, 9, or 12-cup carafe.

If using an actual K cup instead of the reusable, will it fit a K Cup from Keurig? or is it a special size where you have to use an exact brand?

Standard k-cups (Keurig & non-Keurig brands) work just fine. However, it will NOT accept the carafe sized k-cups.

Can you go go back on a track, or only skip forward, also can you controls volume headset?

I could not find a way to go back; could only go forward. Nor did I find a way to control the volume.

Clean your carpets efficiently with this iRobot Roomba vacuum. It lets you set a schedule for automated vacuuming, and the sensors help it navigate under furniture and around objects on the floor for a more thorough cleaning job. This iRobot Roomba vacuum has internal brushes, agitators and suction to handle debris and pet hair.

Does anyone who owns this model find that it is sort of loud?? The part that is the loudest is not the vacuum part but the part that makes it move I guess. Just wondering if anyone else found it loud or is there something wrong with mine?

I'd agree that it's fairly loud. Definitely louder than a competitors robot vac that I have.
