I bought this computer just to have a word processor to take notes on at school. I didn't expect it to do much more than that. But it has a lot of power and is very fast. Even has 3.0 USB. I use it with an 8 channel Tascam interface and it does fine for a recording and Studio work. It's compact. The battery will last about 5 or 6 hours even if you use a lot of the power for from programs. Just with regular surfing the internet it can last up to 12 hours.
