This Metra TCTSP-112 ported subwoofer enclosure holds a 12" subwoofer and is designed for use in most trucks and SUVs. The MDF material and automotive carpeting provide durability.
Installed this in my 1986 Chevrolet Silverado regular cab behind the front seat. Produced amazing bass for the size of the box thanks to the port on the box and there is very little distortion using a sony xplode sub. I did have to slide the seat forward a little bit which is slightly annoying because I do like my seat in the far back position. Other then that this is a great enclosure.
What's great about it: Low price and great preformance.
What's not so great: It is a little deeper then need be.
This dual-voice-coil subwoofer features Dynamic Balance driver technology for pure, distortion-free sound. 720W peak power handling and the 27Hz - 200Hz frequency response provide rich bass tones with a wide range of highs and lows for dynamic audio.
Good sub for the price but after getting it it didn't have quite the quality for the price i was after. Have had polk audio speakers in the past and i loved them but this sub didn't met my expectations so i took it back to the store. Ended up going with a different brand for the sub.
What's great about it: Nice Apperance
What's not so great: Not as good as the competitors for the price.
