Great drive for quick backups or storing digital media. The interface is fast enough to play HD video from the drive. My only complaint is the connection on the drive itself. It is a different type, not the usual mini USB type connector that most devices use. If I misplace this cable, I have to find a very specific replacement. A minor annoyance, but annoying nonetheless.

This new iPad Mini is quicker, slimmer & lighter than the iPad Mini 2 we traded for it. I'm pleased that they upped the max memory to 128 GB, plenty of space to store all our movies & music. Overall, it looks and feels just like the previous model, only a bit quicker. The addition of the fingerprint ID is nice as well. My only complaint is that Apple changed the size just enough that I had to buy a new case.

Sound quality is pretty good; however, selecting the correct input is not straightforward. Auto input search does not always work. We have struggled to get sound even when selecting the correct input. The fiber optic input does not work well. The cable should snap into place but does not. I have tried 3 different cables. As such, when trying to use the fiber optic port, the sound is very poor.

Performs as advertised

We purchased this essentially to replace a cable/satellite box. I am thus far pleased with its perfomance. I like the AirPlay feature. It's nice to be able to stream music and videos to the Apple TV, and I also like that AirPlay can mirror my laptop display, without connecting a DVI or HDMI cable. Very nice touch.
It is a bit annoying to have to activate each "channel", but only once per channel, so not that big of a deal. I also was a bit annoyed that Comedy Central wasn't among the channels. I tried playing the Daily Show through the iPhone CC app and then sending it via Air Play to the TV. I found the video to be a bit sluggish, but it plays just fine on the iPhone without using Air Play to the TV. Oh well, I'm being picky I suppose.
We also have Chromecast, and I think the Apple TV is a far better device.

We are using this stand in a room where we did not want to do a wall mount. This unit fits nicely into the space and looks good. The dark-colored glass is nice. There was just enough distance between the shelves to fit the receiver. The wide shelves allow for placement of game consoles and assorted satellite TV gadgets and even speakers. The inclusion of openings along the back post is great for hiding cables.
My only complaints would be that the unit is very heavy and does not slide easily on the floor.
