This set replaces an old CRT device...yeah. Sure, they're all amazing in comparison. So I went for outside help. Everyone agrees this is the best picture, not "best picture for the price" but ,THE BEST PICTURE. The unit is light, easy to instal, plenty of connectivity, and a really light learning curve. We got it running in minutes. Granted, there is one series above this; more bells and whistles, same picture. We are VERY happy with it.

This is not a fancy machine. Well...the brass was a little extra. There are no bells and no whistles on it. You lower the bread manually; you raise the toast manually. It runs on a timer and you will want to read the instructions. Here's the thing: it is nearly 40% more powerful than pretty much any other unit out there. This translates to real toast, brown and crunchy on the outside while still somewhat pliable in the inside. (So you are not buying another crouton maker here.) Yes, the price is a little off-putting; expect it to last a loooooong time. If for some reason it does break (no forks in the toaster please) it can be repaired. We are very, very pleased with it.

It's a flash drive. The case is solid, and rather than having a removable cap as some of the older ones, it has a slide mechanism. So far it hasn't broken; the slide lock hasn't failed; the data is intact. What more could I ask? It was four dollars well spent.

Touted as having the same features as the Classic Series but with interchangeable side panels and a much smaller footprint, for $80.00 LESS, it seemed too good to be true. Alas, while the Dualit website was less than clear, an email from the company was very specific. (It was on sale; I had to make the order to get the price.) So, while it might be a good toaster, it went right back to the store before I even opened the shipping box. The good people at Best Buy did open it; yes, the sticker said, "Made in PRC".
By the way, we did get the Classic; it's great! (1-star for this one because there is no N/A option.)

This machine came ready to install. The install package the associate included (gratis) is going back, there was not one thing we needed - it was nice of her though. It is as quiet as advertised; and while configured somewhat differently than the unit it replaced, has an amazing capacity. Yes, with the NSF certification, you can be sure you are not eating last month's flu virus. The exterior cleans up nicely; it looks good in the kitchen without drawing attention to itself. We do like the autoclean feature; sure, all of the machines have it now, but this one starts with under 3 gallons of water consumption, less than half of the other one we had considered, (...Which I must say was REALLY NICE too!) Overall I am very pleased with it.

This is neither a high-power nor extremely fast machine. However, it has sufficient onboard memory and processing capacity to more than meet our needs. Beyond that, its screen size and full-sized keyboard (with a number pad) makes it quite usable. We saw no reason at the time to pay two to three times as much and we are happy with our decision.

While this machine is technically a "room" air conditioner, it seems quite sufficient for our son's older two-story home at around 42 degrees latitude, central southern-peninsula Michigan. It was reasonably priced, quiet enough, easy to install (it just drops in), and is on the lower end of operating cost for a 120v unit of this configuration.

I have a 220 line, will it work with that?? There is no Info in the specs about it.
Not this one. On the plus side, the 220v models are often more efficient.

whats the difference between this new model and this Model: FFRE15B3Q1SKU: 3408032?
If memory serves me correctly, the FFRE15B3Q1 was discontinued. Perhaps this was due to the higher efficiency rating of the newer model. (We, too, had looked at it.)
