If you are tired of paying for cable or satellite TV, this device can be the backbone of your over the air system. It will let you watch and record TV via most devices on your home WiFi network. If you have a media center PC or a NAS you can also use it as a DVR so you can watch recorded programming on your tablet (IOS , android, windows, game console). One great aspect of this, is that you don't have to pull antenna cable to watch TV in all the rooms in your house. Since it is on your WiFi network, you can even watch TV in your yard as long as your WiFi sighal is strong enough.
You can also purchase additional HDHomeruns if you need more tuners.
