Versatile and Portable LED Light and Phone Stand

I am very impressed with the build quality, stability, and versatility of this Digipower combination LED light and phone stand. It is very easy to configure, and is a great choice for anyone that wants to add a professional touch to their videography. What makes it especially useful to me is the portability. Ther compact size makes It is much easier to take on the go then a full size stand and the battery operated lights eliminates the need for a corded power source.
As soon as I opened the package I noticed that the individual components were well manufactured. They have the feel of quality and refinement. The cast iron base is heavy enough to not be tipped over easily. I will keep the box as a storage and transportation case because each individual component has a dedicated section due to the foam insert.
The unit is simple to assemble and configure. It is quite adjustable and very versatile. The height and angles can be easily adjusted due to numerous levers and the ball joint. There are numerous configurations that can be used. The stand and LED light can be used to illuminate a work area without having a phone attached, for example if you are using your laptop camera and need some extra light.
A separate clip is included that allows the LED light to be clipped to a laptop, phone, or monitor if desired. The clip could also be attached to any surface that is thin enough to accommodate it (about 1 inch). I attached some photos of the clip for illustration.
Finally, the LED light itself works well and is very bright. It can be set to 3 different color temperatures (3100k - 5100k) and the brightness can be adjusted from low to high in 10 percent intervals. I have been using it at the medium setting and find that to be plenty bright for most situations. At the highest setting it is hard to look at it directly because of the high brightness. An indicator on the back shows the charge level. It has 2 charging ports (micro USB and USB C), that can be used for charging. The light run time is rated at 2 hours but that likely depends on the brightness and color temperature setting. I have been using it for about 30 minutes on medium and the charge level reads as 75 percent full. A short micro USB charging cable is included.

Outstanding Cleaning Power, Remarkable Handling

This Shark Steam and Scrub Steam Mop offers outstanding cleaning power and a lightweight, easy to handle design. The steering and maneuverability are remarkable, and make cleaning my hard floors as easy as can be. The smooth handling, low-profile design allows me to reach tight spaces around the house with ease. It is perfect for scrubbing big or small areas around the house.
Even though it is compact and lightweight, I was quite impressed with how effective it is at cleaning and sanitizing hard floors. The cleaning method it uses is a combination of steam and rotating heavy-duty cleaning pads. I really like that after it is used, all that remains is a very slight dampness that quickly dries, unlike a traditional mop.
It features 3 cleaning levels: Light, Normal, and Deep. Included is a water filling flask, and I was surprised by how little water it takes to fill the reservoir, and how long it lasted with the water tank filled. I used it on the Normal setting, and was able to clean my Master Bath, Home Office, and Living Room one one and half tanks of water. The water reservoir is very easy to fill because it takes so little water and thankfully there is no dirty water reservoir to drain.
It feels very well built and is exactly what I would expect at this price point. The cleaning pads are suitably heavy duty, and I expect them to last quite awhile. Shark has included 2 extra cleaning pads, for a total of four in the package. The cleaning pads are washable, but what I have been doing is hand washing them with dish detergent.
It features bright LED lights that are useful for illuminating hard to see areas. Another great feature is the 22 foot long power cord that minimizes the amount of times that I have to change outlets.

Must Have For Console Or PC Gaming

I have been using this solid state drive with my PS5 and gaming PC and am completely blown away by the performance. The speed of the WD Black is noticeably far superior to the older HDD external drives that I have used in the past. With modern games taking up so much space, a fast SSD external drive is now a must have accessory for console or PC gaming.
In the box is the SSD drive, a USB-A to USB-C cable, and the stand. Setup simply consists of connecting it and then placing it where you want it to go. No external power is required because the drive is powered by the USB cable. Both my PC and PS5 instantly recognized it as an external drive once I connected it. The initial setup was as easy as that. A caveat for PS5 use is that PS5 games can be stored on this drive, but not directly played off of it. This limitation is set by the PS5, and has nothing to do with the WD Black. PS4 and PC games can be played directly off it. Even though the WD Black is designed for consoles (Xbox or PS), it is compatible with a Windows PC.
This WD Black is not only a perfect choice for gaming because of the blazing fast speed, but would be useful for anyone that needs a fast drive for other purposes. Now that solid state drives have become more affordable, I am going to get another WD Black and use it “off label” to store and edit 4K videos that I take with my GoPro Hero7 Black. Editing and transferring 4K videos can be slow and laborious, so having a faster SSD drive will make that process much smoother for me.
After using the WD Black for a few days, I am very impressed by the speed and performance. I have had great experiences with Western Digital drives in the past, so I have no worries about the reliability or longevity. If you need a quality solid state external drive, I recommend it without reservation.

Excellent for Travel and Everyday Use

Based on my past experiences Logitech makes some of the best computer accessories on the market, and once again they have completely met my high expectations. After testing it for a few days, I experienced rock-solid control and performance. The compact size makes it a perfect travel mouse, but it is also excellent for everyday use. If the stylish designs are to your taste, then you can’t go wrong with this mouse.
This mouse feels natural in my hand and is very comfortable to use. I especially like the precision click that the mouse buttons make when they are depressed. The mouse optics are precise and accurate.
The USB receiver is a full-size USB port so if you have a newer laptop you will likely need to use a USB-C to USB-A adapter or a Hub. I tried both methods and can confirm that they both work flawlessly.
I was able to use this mouse with my Windows and Chrome laptops without any problem. It was completely Plug and Play.
This mouse uses a single AA battery that is rated to last 12 months.

I am very favorably impressed by this Level Smart Lock. It is expensive, but has the looks and performance to justify the cost. It looks good, works well, and feels very secure.
The first point I want to cover is that out of the box this lock works remotely over Bluetooth using the Level App. The lock does not have Wi-Fi capability built into it. So it can be locked and unlocked using the App, but only when your phone is within Bluetooth range. It can be controlled from anywhere if the lock is connected, via Bluetooth, to a compatible Apple HomeKit or Amazon Sidewalk device that functions as a Hub.
Installation was simple and took me less than an hour, including removing my old lock and pairing the lock to the Level App. If you have changed a lock before, then you will know what to expect. If the dimensions of your old lock matches the new lock, then the new lock installation is easy. If not then you have to make modifications, and the installation will be more complicated. The Level Lock fit my door perfectly so I did not have to make any adjustments. I used my existing strike plate because it accepted the deadbolt perfectly. The Level provided strike plate had screw holes in different positions then my strike plate, so I decided to not use it so as to not have to drill new holes in my door frame.
The Level Lock and components all feel very solid and well manufactured. It has a basic, but elegant look that will match the decor of any home that it is used with.
After the lock is installed the next step is to pair it to the Level App. Once that is done, the lock can be easily opened and closed by long pressing the Level Icon on the App. Two metal keys and 2 NFC key cards are included. The cards have to be enabled using the App. To do this hold the cards to your phone when prompted. The cards can even be individually named. The key cards work, but do read somewhat slowly.
A useful feature is that the Level App can be used to send a guest pass via text or email. These passes require the Level App to be downloaded by the guest, but allows the pass to be limited to a designated period of time. This is a welcome that avoids me from having to give out a metal key that can be lost or copied. The key card is another good security option because it can be revoked if it is lost or you don’t get it back. Whereas a metal key can be copied and will always be out there if lost.
The touch to unlock functions has to be enabled in the App and works as intended. But in order to work, I must leave the immediate area of my home with my phone. This is a security function that prevents someone from gaining access to my home by touching the lock while I am in my house. This smart lock offers basic auto lock and auto unlock features, but does not have the ability to create schedules.The App default picture can be changed from the chair, to one of your choosing.
The provided lithium battery installs in the deadbolt, and is rated to last for about one year with 10 operations a day.
I am very happy with this lock, and am looking forward to many years of reliable use. I am expecting that Level will add features to the App, and that the list of compatible Amazon and Apple devices will grow. At the moment, I do not have a compatible Apple or Ring device to test the Hub functionality, but do intend to eventually use the lock that way.

Impressive Form And Function

After having had this lamp for about two weeks, I am quite impressed by its form and function. I am using it for a couple of hours every day to brighten up my day in a room that does not get a lot of sunlight. The beneficial effect is especially noticeable early in the morning or when it is cloudy. I am looking forward to using this lamp during the winter months when natural sunshine is in short supply due to the shorter days. If I lived in a part of the world that had long winters and short days, I would certainly want a few of these lamps.
The Lattis design is very attractive and will look nice anywhere you need light. It has 3 different brightness settings, with the brightest being ultra bright. My significant other likes the brightness so much that she uses it to apply her makeup in the morning.
The actual mood enhancing effect will vary from person to person, but for me this lamp works. Not only does this lamp look great, but it gets so bright that it would be useful for multiple applications such as video conferencing or grooming.
An additional benefit of this lamp is that it creates simulated sunlight without actually being exposed to the sun. This could be beneficial to people who have been medically advised to stay out of the sun.

Good For Gaming and Everyday Computing

This ASUS gaming monitor is a great choice for anyone that wants a nice display for gaming, but is on a limited budget. The full HD picture quality is excellent, and the 75 Hz refresh rate is the minimum needed for gaming. Since this monitor is good for gaming, it is even better for everyday computing functions.
The overall image quality of this monitor is excellent. The colors are accurate and vibrant. There are better looking gaming monitors out there, but definitely not at the price point of this ASUS.
A high refresh rate is a must for gaming, but hardcore PC gamers will likely not be satisfied with the 75 Hz refresh rate, and will opt for a monitor with a higher refresh rate and higher cost. I am using this monitor for PC and PlayStation gaming and find that it performs well, with no noticeable lag.
Even though this is a gaming monitor, it is very common for people to use displays for multiple functions, so I also used it to watch videos on Vudu, YouTube and Netflix. Video playback was excellent so this display can be easily used for gaming as well as everyday computing applications.
This monitor is highly adjustable, and rotates from the standard horizontal orientation to a complete vertical orientation. I will likely not use it vertically, but it is a nice feature because you never know, and it could prove to be useful with some applications.
This monitor is limited to 1 HDMI and 1 VGA input. VGA is so antiquated (I am not sure why it is even included) that most people likely will never use it. I would much prefer a second HDMI input, but one HDMI input will get the job done. If your video card has a DisplayPort output then an HDMI adapter cable can be used. There are no internal speakers, but there is a standard audio jack that can be used for headphones or speakers.

Sticking With Wireless Earbuds

I really wanted to like these eyeglass frame clip-on Bluetooth speakers, but I found that they did not work well for me. The concept is interesting, but unfortunately fell short of my expectations. For most applications, a nice pair of wireless earbuds will work better.
I tried them with four different pairs of sunglasses, but was able to achieve a solid attachment with only one pair. Glasses come in so many different configurations that I think it is very difficult to make a universal fit product of this type. Even using the included silicon adjustment sleeves, I was unable to achieve a solid lock on only one pair of glasses that I felt secure taking them on and off. I also did not feel that they were secure enough for most outdoor activities besides taking a walk.
On the plus side, they do sound very good, especially since the sound is projected at your ear as opposed to directly radiating inside of the ear canal. Another benefit to this design is that you will hear more of what is going on around you, if that is a concern.
This product may work better for other people and other glasses then it did for me. Especially if you get creative about locking them down to a specific pair of glasses, or maybe a bike helmet. But there are too many limitations here for me to recommend. I am sticking with traditional wireless earbuds.

Perfect For Working From Home!
If you are in the market for a 32” monitor, then there is a lot to like about this Samsung product. Samsung is known for making quality displays, and this monitor does not disappoint. It is an excellent choice for working from home and personal computing needs. The 32” size has vastly improved my work from home life.
This monitor replaced a 25” one that I have been using to work from home, and the improvement due to the size difference was immediately noticeable. Not as much the picture quality, which are both great, but the jump in screen size. I have really noticed the difference and working is not only more efficient, but easier on my eyes. Now that I have used a screen this size, I am hooked. My p;d 25 inch monitor will now live in my work area as a second monitor, next to this Samsung which is now my primary monitor.
The overall picture quality is excellent. The colors are vibrant and very rich. The contrast is superb and is capable of producing nice black levels. Contrast is crucial to picture quality and is what causes the picture to look really good. Overall I am impressed with the picture quality for general computing activities.
HDR Capability:
Is this monitor 4K UHD capable? Most definitely yes. I need to address HDR at length because the topic needs a detailed explanation. To test the HDR capability I used a Dell XPS 13 that is equipped to render 4K UHD HDR via Dolby Vision. I have attached pictures of the settings screen from my laptop to show what a PC that is HDR capable will show in the settings when it detects a HDR capable display. In order to get a HDR picture on this monitor, a HDR capable device must be used. Important to understand is that even with a HDR capable device, HDR is app and game specific. Even within a specific app, Netflix for example, HDR quality will vary wildly from title to title as each show or movie is mastered differently and with varying levels of quality and effectiveness. The same principle applies to games. In other words all HDR is not created equally, and HDR quality and utilization varies from app to app and title to title. I watched a few HDR titles on Netflix and Vudu and was pleased with the results.
This monitor is equipped with 1 HDMI input and a DisplayPort input. Thankfully manufacturers are moving away from the antiquated VGA input and opting for the more capable Display Port standard. But I wish PC manufactures would simplify things and just use HDMI exclusively. There are no internal speakers but there is a rear headphone jack.

Dyson has a reputation for premium performance and this product completely lives up to that reputation. I would recommend this air purifier to anyone that is concerned about having the best indoor air quality, and is willing to pay a premium price to get it, or in my case maintain it. This product and replacement filters are expensive, but they are worth it for the improved air quality and advanced features it offers. Using it gives me peace of mind, and my peace of mind is well worth it.
The high build quality and visual appeal are immediately apparent. It features an attractive white and silver finish that makes it easy to place and blend. I am using it in my master bedroom and my significant other commented about how remarkable it looks.
Getting the product ready to use was simple and consisted of downloading the Dyson app, taking the product out of the box, inserting the air filter, and plugging it in. The air filter comes in 2 separate pieces that attach to 2 corresponding covers, which in turn snap on to the unit. it is a very simple process, and I posted a picture to show what it looks like.
Included is a compact remote control that is logically designed. The remote magnetically attaches to the top of the air purifier, which is a nice touch that helps it from getting lost. The remote control can nearly fully control the unit, with the exception of setting up a schedule. Linking the product to the app was fast and straightforward. The app offers detailed information, and as I previously stated, allows a schedule to be set, and can also remotely control the product from anywhere.
I would like to give a separate honorable mention to the outstanding LCD screen. It is the best I have ever seen on an air purifier, and clearly shows what mode the product is in. It also gives a usable readout of the various air quality levels this product measures. Use the app to get more specific information, or hit the info button on the remote to cycle through the readouts. If it shows green, then that particular measurement is good. See the Dyson HP07 product page for a more detailed explanation about what pollutant levels are being measured.
This Dyson can be operated in a few different modes. I am keeping it in Auto mode which monitors the temperature in the room as well as the air quality. Then as needed, it will operate at the appropriate fan speed. It can also be operated in a heat mode, which runs via a digital temperature setting.
The air flow direction can be adjusted a few different ways. If the fan mode is not desired for cooling, then the air flow can be set to flow upward so only air purification is used. Another nice feature is that the unit can be manually tilted up or down to target the air flow. The app or the remote can also set the automatic turn (oscillation) to 45, 90, 180, or 350 degrees.
This Dyson is about as loud as you would expect for a powerful fan. At the lower speeds, it is hardly noticeable. At the higher speeds, it is subjectively much louder. There is a night mode that will dim the screen and keep the fan noise low.
One filter is included. A specific filter life in hours is not provided. The Dyson app and LCD screen rates the remaining filter life as a percentage. I have been using it for a few days, and the filter life shows at 100 percent.

Replaced an old SXRD Sony 60" from 8 years ago. Tried the 65" 930 model and that picture was good however not like the 940D. Full array backlighting makes a big difference. First one upon delivery had a line all along the right side of the screen and a horizontal line about 6 inches up from the bottom of the screen. Magnolia came out a few days later with a replacement and this one is much better. Remote control is not user friendly, poor design, Arc audio does not work with my 2 year old Yamaha receiver so must use separate fibre optic cable to allow audio to services. Sony 3D nothing like the Samsung. 4 free movies promotion was difficult to set up and must supply credit card info to get promo and only 8 titles to choose from. I wish they would have included the 3D glasses instead of free movies with a $6500 TV. Overall happy with the purchase and would recommend as a great home theater TV with lots of smart features.

Cable Box breaks ARC

Are you using a cable box? Cable and satellite boxes are notorious for breaking ARC. When I disconnected the cable box HDMI cable from the chain, ARC started working. I am going to get a HDMI "CEC less adapter" and connect it to the cable box which should fix the problem.

Given the choice between buying the 930D and the 940D (if price and size is not a issue), which is the better tv? I am confused with hearing about edge lit vs direct full lit, darkness at the corners with white background, 940D no extended range HDR .
The 940D has superior contrast due to the full array local dimming. This allows for deeper blacks than edge dimming. Wider contrast makes the picture "pop" more and creates a better picture quality.

It can record 1080P video smoothly due to the high read/write speed. This is a high quality product. I use it in a dash cam with great results.
