Decent soundbar for the price

Bought this along with our Samsung 65" 4K Ultra HD TV Silver UN65JU7100FXZA, since that TV does not have the best built in audio - soundbar and sub-woofer are very easy to set up and configure out of the box - only downside I found out afterwards is that it is not a 4K audio capable soundbar - but still, there is very little programming that broadcasts in 4K at this point, so no biggie - plus, the virtual surround still sounds great - after googling what others found to be the best setting, I settled on "Standard" (when I used "Cinema", which initially sounded the best, I found we were constantly turning the volume up and down to accommodate loud noises like explosions and such) - "Standard" seems best overall, with sub-woofer set to "+1"

So far, this has been a great purchase -- little pricey at $2500, but for 65" and 4K, it's expected - picture quality is superb - was going back and forth between this model, and its curved counterpart, but ultimately decided on this one since I was told curved causes distortion for viewers watching from angles - minimal picture fine tuning was needed out of the box (I googled optimal picture settings for my model, and found settings based on others who went through the picture calibration) -- audio on the TV could be better, but we purchased the Samsung HW-J650ZA soundbar at the same time - remote is great

Why didn't my color link ll come with a charger plug? Only came with USB cable. I returned it for another one and there was none with that one either. What's up with that? My daughter' came with a plug. Thanks. CC15
Looks like they only provided the plug with the SoundLink Color I, for whatever reason (have two of those) -- also have the SoundLink Color II (two of those, too), and neither came with the plug -- I just use the plug from the SoundLink Color I, which works fine with it

Is the Bose Soundlink Bluetooth Speaker II water resistant enough to use in the shower?
On the bathroom counter, it's fine - I would not recommend using inside the actual shower

What's the difference in this speaker and the sound link color
It's just about the same -- same sound quality -- same ease pairing it with a device -- little more durable because of the design (sits a little more sturdy) -- supposed to hold longer battery charge but haven't been able to fully test the difference -- main thing they fixed with the new one is the charging port -- on the old one, I had two where the charging port became loose to the point where it would no longer securely connect to the USB cable and would no longer charge (luckily I had gotten the 2-year Geek Squad protection on both, which was like $20 or $30 -- well worth it) -- only downside to the new one is it doesn't come with a USB wall plug -- comes with the USB cable only -- so you can charge from your computer, otherwise you have to buy a USB wall plug (or if you have the USB wall plug from the old one, it works, too)
