Outstanding speed and range

Upgraded mu ISP and was supposed to be getting 600 / 50 for my speeds but every speed test we ran was coming in half of that. Called their tech services who came out tested the wire and confirmed we should be getting the speeds we were paying for. Did some research and found the router I was using, my Netgear Nighthawk X6 AC3200, was the issue. Called their tech support and after over an hour on the line still no improvement.
Decided to pick up the Linksys after reading some reviews and doing some research and what a change. Now I am regularly getting speeds of 580-600 down and 40-50 up. Set-up is fast and easy with customizable controls. Range is good for our home with covered from the basement to the 2nd story.

When I picked up my new AVR and BD player I was caught up in the moment and spent way too much for the HDMI cable. After getting home my new purchase euphoria settled down and I remembered an article about HDMI cables i had seen on CNET. The bottom line is for HDMI, a cable is somewhat a cable and all the hype about materials etc. is somewhat irrelevant. So I packaged up that initial very expensive cable and went back over to BB and picked this one up in stead. Best decision i made as i took the money I got back in the difference and picked up two blu-ray discs to take advantage of my new equipment.
Bottom line - don't get caught up in the hype around cables. Yes get a good quality cable which this one is but don't think paying more will translate to seeing more. Check out the HDMI cable story on CNET

When my old Onkyo died after 12 years of service, I headed over to the Magnolia team. I looked at the Denon, Yamaha, Marantz, and Pioneer line of receivers. I initially brought home a Denon but after struggling with the sound quality it provided i went back and picked up the Yammy. I couldn't be happier. The set-up is pretty straight forward. Their YPAO is Yamaha's version of Audyssey and I found the results didn't fit my ears so I was pleased to see the manual EQ options. The sound is now rich and full as well as balanced. Last night we sat and watched Hacksaw Ridge in 7.2 surround and the battlefield scenes had you feeling like you were right there. Musically I am also very pleased. Throwing on the Big Phat Band DVD the sound field really opened up.

My old Onkyo died after 15 years of service so I headed over to the Magnolia guys with great excitement. The team did a good job explaining the new receiver options to me. I tried really hard to like this Denon but in the end I returned it. I just couldn't get the warm sound I was used to out of it. I would describe the sound as very clean and powerful but to me it felt more like my studio monitor system I use for my keyboards and recording studio. Very neutral and clean. I ended up buying the Yamaha RX-A870 because it gave me more control over the sound elements and I was able to get the warmth I was looking for

I purchased this to go with my new Sony Blu-ray player but returned it and went with the Pearl version instead. The fundamentals of how HDMI works means the cable has a minimal impact on the results so why pay the premium price. You do want a quality heavier duty cable so I am very happy with the Pearl and took the money I got back to purchase a copy of Rogue One

When I connect the camcorder and try to import Imovie says, "No camera connected." I downloaded the PlayMemories software and when I click on Imovie the camera comes up but it shows 0 projects. How can I download from camcorder into IMovie 11?

Do you have to use the PlayMemories Home software to pull the video off the camera? I don't want to have to use either video editing software or their software to do this.

I need to video 2 hour plays, will this camera accomodate? Would I need to purchase a certian size card and battery to make this happen without interuption? THanks,
I just used mine last night to record a performance at the highest quality setting and with a 64GB card I still had room to spare. The performance was 2 1/2 hours long
