Will this fit a 2004 Rav4?

Looking at your console, it probably would. Here's what you need to do, get on the Internet and look for a stereo installation kit for the RAV4. It comes with brackets and wiring harness. Everything you'll need to make the Alpine receiver fit perfectly. Cost for the kit is approximately $70..

Will this fit my 2003 Mercury Marauder and be compatible with the steering wheel controls?

After looking at what your car stereo looks like, it should fit perfectly. My question, are you going to install it yourself? If so, your going to have find mounting bracket kit for your particular car. It's about another $80. and it comes with wiring harnesses and module to retain your steering wheel controls. I did my own installation on 2010 Silverado, works like a champ. If you have a install company do the work, it's about $250. The Internet is great place for assisting with doing your own installation.

Will my steering wheel audio controls work with this non-factory radio? 2014 Subaru Crosstrek

You'll have to find a install kit. Just install this unit in my Silverado. Found the kit that came with , mounting bracket, wiring harnesses, and module that retains you steering wheel controls. It will cost you a little extra, but well worth the money. Several different companies, I bought Crux. Hope this helps.
