Rush Hour is a film series that contains three Chinese-American martial arts/action-comedy buddy cop films that were created by Ross LaManna and directed by Brett Ratner. All three films feature a pair of detectives, a Hong Kong Police Force inspector and an American LAPD detective, played by Jackie Chan and Chris Tucker, who got a series of adventures that often involve corrupt crime figures. The three films were released theatrically between 1998 and 2007 and have ultimately achieved commercial success as each incorporated various elements of martial arts, humor and the buddy cop subgenre.
The first film, Rush Hour, features the two mismatched officers who must work together to rescue the Chinese Consul’s kidnapped daughter. Originally released on September 18, 2998, the film grossed just over $200 million worldwide.
The second film, Rush Hour 2 features the two actors reprising their roles as Inspector Lee and Detective Carter. The film finds the uncanny duo stuck right in the middle of a counterfeit scam that involves the Triads. The film was originally released on August 3, 2001 and received very mixed reviews from critics, but ended up grossing just over $347 million at the worldwide box office.
The third and final film, Rush Hour 3 brings the iconic duo back and continues on with the story that originated in the second film. Placing emphasis on the importance of fighting the Triads at the World Criminal Court and as the team works together to hopefully track down Shy Shen, a somewhat mythical person who is of great importance to the Chinese Mob. The film was originally released on August 10, 2007 and grossed just over $258 million worldwide.

Once downloaded you get fully installed Office 2016 versions of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote and Outlook. A very powerful software package that provides all you will ever need for your home office needs! I had used the 2010 version of Office at my job for several years and this software is much slicker. For example, in Excel the software now has an option where it will ask you what you would like to do and it will help you create whatever you need, be it a table, a filter, change settings, etc. This same option is available in all of the different software products. The product suite also includes One Note, which is new for me since apparently this was added after 2010. One Note is a place to keep track of things and make notes for things to do, plan trips, shopping lists, etc. Microsoft also provides mini training videos to help you get familiar with the products. Pretty awesome! I think overall, this is a very powerful productivity suite of products that should address all of your home office software needs!
The hero of the animated musical fantasy Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas (PG) is a friendly corpse named Jack Skellington. Jack’s head is like a waxy, misshapen golf ball with huge black sockets where the eyes should be; his mouth, a stitched slit full of pegged teeth, breaks into a ghastly open wound of a smile. He looks like a jack-o’-lantern after a car accident, and his skeletal body isn’t much more appealing. Clad in a tattered tuxedo, it’s so tall and straight and spindly it isn’t quite there. The latest of Burton’s sad-sack, eternal-adolescent outcasts, Jack lives in Halloweentown, a fabulously gnarled, horror-movie underworld that suggests a Dr. Seuss dreamscape as redesigned by Hieronymus Bosch. A ringmaster among freaks, Jack gets a charge out of frightening people. But then he visits Christmastown and discovers (well, sort of) the spirit of Christmas. He learns that what he really wants is a friend.
Peter Jackson’s Battle of the Five Armies ends his Hobbit trilogy on a somewhat underwhelming note, but it’s worth taking that final trip to his Middle-earth.
