The new one is much faster, the screen has better color and I am stoked with the new cases that I also purchased. I needed a phone to test Android applications and I have been a bit disappointed with this phone. It's a bit on the slow side, even for basic tasks. The overall quality is good, but the lack of a removable battery and the funky way the outer plastic comes off (which gives access to the sim card and SD card). Some issues with the version of android it is running (5.1 at the moment) gives the phone a lack of polish. However for the sales price of $9.99 it was worth the money spent.
