Entertaining look at the classic Zombie franchise

Very detailed 2 hour documentary that covers the first movie. Both informative and funny. Parts 2 and 3 are also covered in the extras section. Highly recommended for fans of the movies.

Hilarious collection of shorts
on April 18, 2013

Mike Nelson and the gang are in fine form as they riff through this collection of short educational films. If you were a fan of MST3K you know exactly what to expect here. My favorite in this collection has to be "Skipper Learns a Lesson" where a talking dog learns tolerance.

Fun movies, bad picture quality.

Decent collection of cheesy Italian war movies. Only down side is that the picture quality on the movies is about VHS level (some movies had with tracking problems and few have burned-in Japanese subtitles). But if you know what you are getting into, you should enjoy this collection.

A set expressly designed for the most ardent Roy Rogers fans, hosted by Roy Rogers and Dale Evans, this package contains twenty of the most popular films from "The King of the Cowboys," licensed from the Roy Rogers Family Trust. Featured films include: Young Bill Hickok, Down Dakota Way, The Golden Stallion, Rainbow over Texas, Susanna Pass and many more. Bonus features include interactive menus and chapter selections.

Good sampling of classic Roy Rogers
on April 18, 2013

What you are getting here are actually episodes of the late 80's TV show "Happy Trails Theater" . The cool thing is that show is hosted by Roy Rogers and Dale Evans themselves, and it is great to hear them and various guests speak about the making of several of the movies.
The downside is the movies they show are edited down for time. Often it can be hard to notice, but other times it is clear that a good chunk of story has been edited out (making a few of the movies hard to follow).
Despite this, I would recommend this set to fans of Roy Rogers, but do know what you are getting into it before you decide to purchase this DVD.

What's great about it: good movies
What's not so great: The movies are edited
