Best gaming computer I have ever had!

Worked fast and flawlessly right out of the box! Mine game with a 512GB NVMe PCIe SSD and it is lightening fast! The mouse and keyboard are adequate with the mouse light continuously pulsing and no instructions for turning it off. The lack of a DVD/BluRay drive is a minor inconvenience because I have a few games and programs on DVD but I had an external BluRay player/burner already to play movies so no biggie! I added a 1TB SSD for games and other programs to load fast as well. I had to remove both sides of the case (easy, as they both have thumb screws) one side to get to the power supply and the other to install the drive and connect the SATA cable. There are three 2.5 drive "bays" (really just drive holders attached to the inside of the case) I've had it just over three weeks with no problems and I am loving it!

I almost didn't recognize Melissa Rauch from Big Bang Theory, who plays Hope, until she started to speak. There's no mistaking that voice! The movie is about Hope, an Olympic bronze medal winner in gymnastics, who had an injury during the competition that kept her from competing again, so she plays her third place victory it for all it's worth in her small Ohio town, getting free food and other stuff, but she is a rotten, spoiled, foul-mouthed selfish b***h who has no job and lives off her dwindling trust with her father, who she treats as badly as other people. Her father cuts off her $500 a week allowance because the trust is almost gone. When her ex instructor passes away, leaving a new Olympic hopeful stranded and despondent, She takes over her training after receiving a letter from her ex instructor saying she will get half a million dollars if she completes Maggie, the Olympic aspirants training. Reluctantly, she takes over, but after a while, she starts to enjoy it. If you can stand a lot of swearing (a LOT) then you may enjoy this movie!

This is basically the same version on DVD but restored to a much better and cleaner video experience. I watched the DVD version prior to purchasing the new BluRay version and the restored version is clear and not grainy! I would have liked to see the removed scene where the three junkyard bums get slaughtered but no such luck. Maybe in a later version.

I was a bit leery of purchasing this tablet as I owned the previous 8.4 tab S which has a slightly higher resolution (2550 x 1600 as opposed to 2048 x 1536) and a 4:3 aspect ratio as opposed to the Tab S's 6:9. I LOVE THIS TABLET! I take it to work to listen to music on my Bluetooth speaker or headphones. I play games occasionally and read books and magazines and the screen is awesome! The built in speakers are, as one would expect, not the best in the world but they have a descent sound, although not very loud. The fingerprint scanner is cool! I don't have to remember another password!

I had a 240 GB SSD but I wanted more room for programs (Oh, all right, games) So when I saw this on sale I decided to go for it. I already had the software to clone my drive so set up was easy. This SSD works very well! I have moved from Win 8.1 to 10 and things are running smoothly so far. It is fast, quiet and has room for more programs. You will be amazed at how fast Windows boots up! I may buy another for my other half! (when it goes on sale again)

Hello, Just bought this blown rig, my baby is on the way. I wanna know if it has a DP (Display Port) port on the back and if I could get the guys in the best buy I'm gonna pick it up from to install the drivers there since it doesn't come with a dvd.
Mine has one display port, one HDMI port and one DVI port but it would probably depend on the graphics card installed. Mine is a ZOTAC.
It is ready to run right out of the box so all of the drivers should already be installed. Mine were.
You just have to install programs and those are digital downloads these days.
If you have older programs on CD or DVD you can always buy an external DVD drive.

I take a lot of video outside - can you see the screen outside on a bright, sunny day?
Short answer, yes.
Long answer:
If you turn the brightness all the way up the screen is decently viewable if it is in a shadow but NOT with the sun shining directly on it.
The Super AMOLED screen view ability is much better than yesterday's LED type but the higher the brightness the shorter the battery life.

Is it a big transition for reading mags/books from e-readers to tablets? Also, whats the pros and cons in using tablets for reading?
Not necessarily a big difference for E-Books, you will need a free app like Kindle or Kobo but magazines, on an app like Zinio, will be in full color. (never used a Kindle tablet so might be the same)
Today's color E-Reader/tablets are more robust and have better features than yesterday's E-Ink readers but that's because they are really just Android tablets with an OEM launcher on top specifically tuned for their products. Tablets, and more recently E-reader tablets, can also have more storage added in the form of micro SD cards. (S2 and newer Kindle HD tablets can have up to a 128 GB micro SD card)
Pros of a tablet over an E-Reader: (E-Ink type)
* You can generally do more on a tablet.
* You can listen to music while you read (and access the controls
from a drop down menu)
* Resolution is usually higher (Not always so check!)
* It is not locked to a specific site (IE: Amazon for Kindle, Barnes
& Noble for Nook) so you can use any reading app like Kindle, Kobo or Nook

What level Video Cards are needed to support this monitor?
My current desktop has an Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 3100 card. (Dell Inspiron 530 with Core2Quad processor purchased in 2008. Thanks.
Just about any newer computer with built in graphics will work. It really only depends on the connections on the computer and monitor. Dsub or VGA is almost always available and a cable comes with the monitor (see product recommendations) It also has an HDMI input as well.

Is the stand (and leg) for this monitor completely removable? I am looking to mount 2 of these on an external arm. I have an older Samsung monitor model on which the part of the stand attached to the monitor does not come off.

BUT, there are no VESA or other mounting holes on the back so I don't think this will do for your needs.

Red Color?
I'm curious about what the red color is and how it affects viewing the screen - will it affect my perception when using the monitor for color editing of photographs?
The RED color is in the bezel around the screen. It is a very dark red and barley noticeable.

What is the HDMI and what does it do?
HDMI is a cable specification. It's how you connect the monitor to the computer or a TV to the cable box, Roku, Blueray/DVD player. You generally have to purchase HDMI cables separately from the TV/Monitor.
