It worked well. Functioned as it should other than a few design flaws.
Had a few keys on the key board just pop off. Some of the rubber bumper pads came unglued as well. The glue used starts to come off and the pads start to shift and become "gummy" and will eventually come off. The rubber pads need to be built into the case with some push in type backing, and not just glued on! Glue, with heat and usage will not hold. I have a NEW upgraded model of this one, and it started doing the SAME thing too! So that aspect, is not durable at all.

Does not work on older operating systems

It will not work with Vista and other prior operating systems It seems they could make it to still work with the millions of computers out there, that still have Vista and prior operating systems. Called WD tech support. Took a long time for the customer service to even figure out and tell me 3TB model, will not work and is not compatible with Windows Vista. They gave no fix, no solution, and no alternative to being able to save data
