That big DOH moment when I realized we needed a hub moments after installation. We had planned to go out of town and needed it installed and working before than. Installation was easy, for the husband anyway and after we received our Hub the item worked amazing. Have it set for dusk and dawn settings as my boy dog seems to think if the lights off outside when he's out there, that he's not allowed in, or maybe he just couldn't find the door, and will whine til I get up and open the door for him, my girl is a little smarter, either way it works, even with my phone off. Took only seconds to sync and now we don't worry about turning on and off the lights for the dogs when we're out.

I was looking for a camera with wifi that plugged in. I already have wireless running on batteries outdoors and the batteries are costing me an arm and a leg so I wanted something to point outside. yeah, not gonna work, the camera just shows a bright white circle after I had spent hours trying to set it up. Def not plug and play as I had to go thru a lot of downloads to find actual instructions that involved a C&P of my ISP into the URL on top. Took an hour to figure that out. All I needed was actual instructions and not hours of trying to find them. Once I got it up and running the camera looked great inside my house. Problem was...I don't need one to show me what's going on inside. I need one to show what's going on outside without spending about $15 in batteries for one camera or having to buy a whole new system for only 1 camera. I give.

I had another tracker before this one. It kept cutting off on me and I was having to resync it over and over. I have several Garmin products, like Nuvi's and handheld gps, so I know their reputation. I've found it has worked best when worn a little loose. It keeps better tracking and doesnt turn itself off of night mode when I'm sleeping. It has begun to fade and as that is a noteable problem, contacted Garmin for a free replacement.

What is the range to get notifications from your iPhone, how far can the phone be away from the band?
Hello I am interested in this Garmin because its slim design and you can receive notifications when you are getting a text or phone call. How far away can the iPhone be from the band? Does it have to be in your pocket or can it be in the room that you are in?
I have a Samsung not an iphone but I'll still answer. I can get notification when my phones in the kitchen and I'm two doors down in the office. That's about 50 ft. I will also get "Bluetooth Disconnected" notice when I go to my house mailbox and right back on again walking up my sidewalk at about 50ft also.

Does the vivosmart come with a charger?
Yes, it's a usb plug on one end and the other end is like a clamp that goes over the whole thing and makes contact with the dots on back.
