I had to buy this with the Best Buy installation because it came as a package deal, and found it overpriced for what it is. It gets the job done but there are definitely cheaper ones out there if you are installing your cook top yourself.

Functionality is great, but lacks in appearance

I went from 4 burners to this 5-burner cook top. I cook extensively and so this gets heavy use. I'm writing this review after using this for about 2 months. Functionality is great, the burners and BTUs are excellent. I like that the knobs are in the front so I have much more room for big pots and pans.
BUT, for some reason the grates have lost their luster, and the burner tops are turning red around the edges (see pictures.). So although I've only had this for about 2 months, its starting to look like I've had it for much longer. I have been cleaning it according the instructions in the manual, but I can't bring the original luster back. I understand over time a cook-top loses its sheen, but I did not expect it to lose it this quickly. Not sure if I got a defective part or what.
Its bothersome to me because all my other stainless steel appliances can be cleaned and wiped back to a shine, but not the case with this cook top. I can't even get rid of the water spots. Its starting to look like it belongs in an industrial-level kitchen now. The grates look worn out and scratched up even though they are dishwasher-safe.

If I had known this was going to happen I probably would have purchased a different 5-burner cook top. I'm in the process of renovating my kitchen and have updated all my appliances to pristine stainless steel pieces, but this has been a disappointment. I'm giving it 3 stars because FUNCTIONALITY is good, but its not good if you want to keep your kitchen looking clean and shiny after using it and cleaning it. Some people may not care about this aspect, but its important to me.

A little work to figure out at first

Spent 2 days trying to figure out how to get it to work with my Mac Book. But works OK once I FINALLY got it going. Just wish there was a way for me to know if the entire thing would fit on the DVD drive or not. Its not until its done burning that I find out it cut out the last like 5 minutes. And for old home videos from 20+ years ago, every minute counts! I wonder if there anything else out there that is more user-friendly?

We finally decided to get rid of our old back-projection wide screen TV (yup the kind that sticks out 3 feet in the back) which served us well in the past years. We have had alot of Sony applicances and generally like Sony, but that being said, we still decided to shop around before deciding on this one. We compared all available 75" (we knew that's the size we wanted) and finally settled on this one even though we were leaning towards a Samsung for a while. Turns out Samsung had some image issues that can be seen in dark colors. We have an xbox, PS4 and a Wii, so good picture quality was important. We LOVE this TV, it even had a "Live Football" mode we use when watching games, and it has been nothing but superior. It's pretty user friendly. This is the only Smart TV we have in the house, so I can't really say much about other smart TVs, but this one is fantastic. No regrets on this purchase!

Does this TV have the option to upscale normal HD TV to UHD?
Yes it does, especially since 4K is not the standard for local networks (YET)
