Purchase as a gift for my mother in law. She was very happy with it. She especially likes the calendar mode where she can see the date, time and pictures all at the same time.
This is a great item for the price because it has built in memory where most others in this price range you have to buy a memory card for it. I was able to put 300 pictures on it and a video with memory to spare.
The remote works from across the room, you just have to make sure to point it right in the middle of the device.
