I believe many of the bad reviews are from no RC experience and not understanding this drone or RC for that matter. THIS DRONE IS NOT FOR A BEGINNER! If you have no RC experience then dont buy it unless you find someone that can help you learn to fly. Go buy a small mini drone and fly it until you understand the basics. This is a big powerful drone. It has 3 speeds but even at the low speed its very quick to respond to the controls. It has auto stabilizers but you still have to fly it. Its VERY hard if not impossible to fly and not crash without experience . The complaints of drifting quickly left or right is probably because it needs trimmed and you need to control it until the trim buttons are pushed. The battery is short lived at 7 Min. It will not go more than that. Use your phone as a timer because it will land wherever it is when the time is reached. I have seen complaints of motor failures but mine has been fine at about 3 weeks. As far as a fly away you need to adjust the altitude sensor before you take off. It will go completely off track without that being done. if you get out of control and your not to low from the ground it will override your control and try to save itself and not respond to you. If your low , well your going to crash. If you are high enough it will land on its own. Keep it close to you the range is limited. If you get out of range again it will do its own thing and that is land. When it wants by the way. Don't fly near trees, Buildings, Vehicles or people. Don't think this is just a toy. This drone can do property damage and even hurt someone. You need a large area free of anything till you learn how to control this or any drone. The video and camera are just ok. It does not seem very durable but I have crashed pretty hard and no damage yet. Bottom line . Its not worth 279 but I got it for 179 and thats a good price for the bang.

Overpriced Flawed Cover

The fit of this cover is great. Like the small size over the otter box . I really did not care about the waterproof cover. Just wanted good protection. Now the bad. Air in the cover behind the screen makes it impossible to use screen. Finally left out the ear phone jack plug to fix but there goes the watertight . Hate Hate Hate the stupid adapter cable to just listen to music All sound is muffled music sounds like your under water . Very hard to plug in charger plug . Hate the belt clip it sucks very cheap hard to put the phone in it and spins like a Fing marry go round on my belt. Oh and the customer service is terrible . Told me to push the cover to by chest to get air out . Guess Im going back to otter box .
What's great about it: Protection
What's not so great: Air behind cover, Price , Sound, Belt clip
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
