This movie (if you haven't seen it) is on the must see list. You will find it really mimics the real life characters during the cold war.

After the update to 4.4.2 (a few bugs in 4.4) this is the new standard of Android. There is a lot of new features that I still have not discovered yet.
First is PRINTING. I can print to my home printer (HP) from anywhere now. Easy setup with google cloud printing and it will be waiting there when I get home.
Second is voice search. Just say "ok google" and say what you're looking for. Works great when you don't know how to spell a particular word.
Playing games is great. No lag, or flickering.
Movies are brighter and with HD and Wireless display capability!!
The highlight of the Google Nexus line is: NO BLOATWARE and you get UPDATES FIRST.

This is perfect for running 1080p from my neighbors house to mine. He has component and I am getting free HD programing. The only drawback is that I have to watch what he is watching. That OK since we swap all the time. I would highly recommend this for those who live in trailers next to homes that have cable/satellite subscriptions.
What's great about it: Longer than mine
What's not so great: No ice maker
I would recommend this to a friend!

I picked one of these up on Black Friday, 2013. Initially, I was very excited. The salesmen in the store spoke highly of these, and online reviews confirmed what they are saying.
However, I ended up returning mine and buying a Samsung. Here's why:
The dealbreaker for me is that I don't use this as just a television. I have a computer hooked up (home theater PC) as well as several gaming systems. The first time I booted up the computer is when I noticed the glaring problem - several cloudy lines across the center of the screen, especially when solid colors were displayed. I have attached a picture of what I saw.
A lot of people would have never noticed this. When watching a sporting event or movie, they are very hard to notice. However, I am very particular about my technology, and once I saw it, I couldn't unsee it.
I returned it to my local store, where they gladly exchanged the product, but were honest that they didn't believe it was defective. I appreciated their honesty and willingness to work with me. They indicated that Vizio products allow these kind of blemishes within their quality control, because almost no one displays solid colors for long periods of time.
If you're unlike me, this TV might do great for you. However, if you are very particular, spend the extra money on something better. I linked the TV I purchased, and I'm incredibly happy with it.

bought this google tv to replace my apple tv, roku, and WD media player thinking it does everything i need. It does everything, except it does NOT HAVE HULU PLUS. taking it back tomorrow. what a waste of time.

If it's nice, why just one star for not having hulu plus. It's hulu's fault for not supporting this device not Sony's. I would give it at least 3 in your case, but I personally don't like hulu since most of their media is meh.
