Nice looking, Large Capacity, Quiet

Finally replaced a old workhorse Kenmore in our Garage with this one. It has been great so far. Much more attractive/modern and very quiet. I swapped the door orientation which was easy.
The only set-back from my perspective; The old Kenmore was a tank. So, my expectations my be too high. But the tempered glass shelves are so wide (there is no divider. they span across the entire width of fridge), that they bow significantly under weight. OK to put a gallon jug on each side closest to the rail support. But, you will get bowing if placed in center. I put qty 8 gallon jugs on the bottom shelf with no problem. But, this is also my beer fridge. So, what I did was created support "beams" that integrated the middle glass shelf with the top glass shelf so the weight of all the beer bottles was distributed between the two shelves to eliminate (or at least drastically reduce) the bow of the top shelf. I can post pic if anyone might be looking to create a similar solution. LG should beef-up the thickness on the shelves or another alternative to add much more rigidity to them.

Still nice but downgraded from predessesor

I really like these. I have several. I bought most of them several yrs ago and then decided to add this one to a new wall. I was happy I could at least find the same model. Color, hardware = same. But, shelves have slightly less depth and are not as thick as original units. Still functional and probably wouldn't have had much "concern" if it weren't for knowing the previous revision was a little more stout.
Anyway, I actually flip these upside down and install them against the wall and to the ceiling. Then, made some nice cleats and trimmed them out. We put many of the movies face forward so it looks like mini movie posters. They look beautiful and really make the media room impressive.

Did a reasonable job counting steps/distance/flights. Nice smart features and watch face apps. Was not as robust as I had hoped; It would flake-out occasionally and I would realize it hadn’t been counting my steps mid-day. A power down and up solved it. So, I got in the habit of shutting it off each night and power up fresh each morn. Also, couldn’t stand-up to working in yard and those kinds of more physical tasks which it would have been nice to have the steps “credit” but band to watch connection too fragile to handle it. Eventually broke. Although it is basically trash now, I got the basic info/validation I hoped for; Top 3% amongst Samsung community. I’m an active dude which I suppose I could have bought someone that knows me a beer and saved the cash to have them tell me, “of course, you’re an active dude"… :>
