Now that we have the WWE Network, it's difficult to find reasons to buy WWE events on blu-ray/DVD, but this set is an amazingly thorough compilation, mixing up some hidden classics, some unknown gems, and a few noteworthy matches. It's awesome how WWE has released one every two years, and this is worthy of the first two. Highly recommended for any fan of "The Monday Night Wars."
It took me a few viewings to finally appreciate how good this movie was, and after seeing the new "Rogue Cut," like it more and more. Almost every new addition addresses some of the issues of the theatrical version (more room for the story to breathe, instead of rushing through major plot points, more of a connection to "First Class," and way more screen time for Ian McKellen and Patrick Stewart, amongst things). But you also get the original version, and a great 50-minute documentary on the making of the film. Highly recommended.
A lot of people have said that this is one of if not THE worst Royal Rumble match ever, and it's really not. Once you get over the fact that Daniel Bryan doesn't win, you can enjoy the match and you maybe could even enjoy the heat in the arena, especially with the cringe-worthy ending. The show is solid, and the triple-threat match is the first contender for Match of the Year.
