I like that this charger is coiled cord, so it's pretty much out of the way when not in use. I have one of those little sticky back hooks in my car and I hang the end of it there and it will reach my phone mount without unhooking it. If I have to hold the phone to my ear, which I seldom do, the cord stretches without unplugging from the phone or DC outlet.
So I read where some so called expert talked about DC surges in cars and you shouldn't use a cord like this. Here's the deal, don't plug the phone into the charger until you have started the vehicle. Most surges occur when you first start the vehicle. Once it's up and running you can plug this charger in. Now if you have an alternator issue and the voltage is going up and down, you have bigger problems and other more important electronics are going to get messed up.
Mine is in my truck all the time and like I said, it's purpose built.

I got this for my wife so she could print photos from her phone. We had an earlier version of the same thing but you had to use a cable. Not sure why she doesn't use it that much, not as easy to carry as the phone I guess.

Slip this Tile by Life360 Mate tracker on your key ring and call it from your phone to end the search for your keys.
Bought this for my wife to find her keys, being able to push a button on the Tile and find her phone was a welcome benefit. Wouldn't you know though, since she's had this, she really hasn't misplaced her keys that much. Maybe it's worth the psychological benefit of not wanting to lose your keys so you don't have to use it. Kind of like bringing the umbrella with you so it won't rain?
Protect your stored data with this convenient Pelican memory card case. Store multiple SD cards of various sizes securely in designated slots in the shock-absorbing liner. This Pelican memory card case is made of durable polycarbonate resin and has a water-resistant seal to ensure comprehensive protection of your saved data.
I like the case, it's one of the few I know of made for this purpose. I just wish Pelican would make it in the US like they do a lot of their other cases. I had SD cards all over the place in different holders, this really organized them for me to have on one place. It also holds those tiny annoying microSD cards so you're less likely to lose them.

I wanted to use this as a dash cam because of the size and video quality. I have a Hero 3 and this camera has a lot of improvements but still wasn't able to make it work as a dash cam. I would think GoPro could write and have a software function for dash cam, that would be a whole other revenue stream for them. Again it has potential as a Dash Cam, but it's not a set and forget.
Stay safe on the roads with this THINKWARE F750 TW-F750 dash cam, which warns you when your vehicle departs from the lane and when you are in danger of a front-end collision. Other safety alerts ensure awareness of red lights and speed cameras.
I bought this camera because it was on sale. Would have gone with a cheaper model had it not been on sale. I was however surprised that it has GPS capability and a voice that tells you when it's going to start recording. After the first week or so you forget about it and stop playing with it. It did tell me I needed to format the microSD card frequently for best results. Translation, format the card before it will start recording again. I don't doubt there are cameras with better quality video, this one's not bad, but in some situations I'm not sure you'd be able to read a license plate number? Right now, it just seems to work and I pretty much forget about it until someone who doesn't know I have it gets in the car and wonders who's talking?
Connect your THINKWARE dash cameras directly to your vehicle's fusebox with this Hardwire Kit for all THINKWARE Dash Cameras, which allows the camera's parking surveillance mode to function while the vehicle's ignition is turned off.

I wasn't sure if I needed this or not for the dash cam I bought, after installing it with the included power cord I returned this one. Now, if you want the dash cam to record incidents when your car is parked you will have to have this cable as I understand. I still think it's too costly as power cables go.

The quality of the LCD screen is really bad, almost making it useless. I was unable to install the software on my Mac and after leaving the company an email, I never heard from them and was unable to install it. There were some spots on the sensor as the same "dust" showed up on any of the slides I tried to copy. I blew out the slot with canned air and it would reappear in a different spot later. Finally returned to Best Buy.
Charge and sync your compatible Apple® device with this Apple MD818ZM/A cable, which features a Lightning connector for use with iPad® mini, iPad with Retina, iPhone® 6s or 6s Plus, iPod® nano 7th generation and iPod touch 5th generation.
While these may seem expensive compared to some other 3rd party cords, I always go with the OEM. Anytime I get a $5 off coupon, I just go buy one of these cords, you can never have too many.
