I was caught off guard by the nice twist, not easy to do for a die hard horror fan like me. Acting was good, however, I did think that they didn't act as a real person would in their situation. That is why this didn't get 4 stars. I like the characters to be a little more believable in a film when it is supposed to be taken seriously.
I loved loved loved the actresses in the movie. But I thought they reacted in a way that wasn't realistic to what was going on. In other words, it wasn't very believable. I don't blame the young ladies though, just the writing was "off" a bit. It was strange, but somehow I liked it overall. Just probably wouldn't watch a second time.
I knew almost immediately this was not going to be good but sat through it waiting to catch a glimpse of Slender Man, which sadly, never really happens. One decent special effect in the movie of a guy supposedly being lifted by Slender Man's electricity while Slender Man is off screen does not make a movie. Horrible.
Really good stuff going on here. The animated Edgar Allen Poe stories in this movie are done by several directors and the animation is uniquely cool in every story. If you are a Poe fan, you should set aside some time to watch this one.
I was so completely disappointed in this movie. It's another one of those good ideas for a horror movie that could have been great, but unfortunately, falls flat of delivering. I held on- thinking "this has to get better", but nope, it doesn't. Don't bother wasting your time.
I loved this original idea of an immortal cannibal who has given up on feasting on humans, but falls off the wagon. It's got a great sense of humor but throws in some bloody action and gore for the horror fan. Worth a look or two!
Halloween horror fans shouldn't be too disappointe

You can tell they had a bigger budget in this one, the special effects are a bit better. What I love about this are the original story concepts. There is some good stuff going on here, but the acting and production could still be a LOT better with an even bigger budget.
