Stellar performances by both Franco and Hill. Fans of both know these two can bring us to tears because we're laughing so hard at the foolish things they either say or do in their films, but seeing them both in this more serious role was just as good. In a different way, of course. Like most crime/drama films the movie starts off a little slow, but as the story unfolds you will definitely come to enjoy and appreciate it.
I took one look at the cover of this Blu-ray and thought it was one of those cheesy films based on the Nicholas Sparks novels, but that, it is not. This story features a strong female lead with superb performances by a brilliant ensemble cast.
There's something about Brendon Urie's voice that just gives me life. This record comes a little over 2 years since the release of "Too Weird To Live, Too Rare To Die!" and as a Panic! fan I desperately needed this. Such a great album. It's GOOD, it's BAD (but in a good way), and it's DIRTY! Fans rejoice because our boys are back and they are definitely here to stay.
Lady Antebellum fan from the get-go, so I'm ecstatic Charles Kelley finally released his first (of hopefully numerous) solo effort. Same classic country sound we all heard and loved by him from his Lady A days, but this time around he is not out-shined by miss Hillary Scott's killer vocals. Definitely a must for every fan. I honestly would've like less duets since the featured artists deprive us from his vocals, I mean, he DID go solo for a reason, but they are very welcome.
That's right! "Meh nuh cyar" if people keep complaining they don't understand half of the lyrics on this record. This album is on FIYAH! There are so many potential singles, Rih could literally release any song off this album and it would become a smash. Favorite tracks include "Never Ending", "Close To You", the sassy and in your face "Needed Me", and "S E X With Me." I would have given this album 5 stars, but the fact that I purchased the DELUXE Edition and it's missing every single song she released as a single last year, such as: "FourFiveSeconds", "American Oxygen," and "BBHMM", I'm deducting a star.
This release collects every episode from season two of the popular Netflix original series about Piper Chapman (Taylor Schilling), a classy woman in her thirties who is sentenced to prison after being convicted of a ten-year-old crime of trafficking money for her drug-dealer girlfriend.
Like A fine wine, this series keeps getting better and better with time. I have Netflix so I can pretty much watch the show as many times as I want on there, so for me to take time out of my busy schedule to go out to my nearest Best Buy and money out of my pocket to purchase a copy of it on Blu-ray it must mean that it's definitely worthwhile. I'm definitely looking forward to the release of season three on Blu-ray and season four on Netflix later this year.
I expected a "VICTORY!", but this just felt uncomfortably wrong. I'm a big fan of most HBO series, especially when it comes to "S-e-x and the City" and "Entourage." I thoroughly enjoyed both SATC films (the first more than the second, still, loved them both) so when I heard Entourage was getting its own film, I was enthusiastic and hopeful it would be just as good as the series was. Unfortunately it wasn't. The "Hello Ladies" tv special/movie that aired a year after that series was cancelled after one season was actually better than the Entourage movie, and it only features a Nicole Kidman cameo. The film's writers should have focused more on the story and way less on the numerous and annoying cameos.
Anyone who's seen an Adam Sandler film knows what they're getting themselves into. Like most Sandler movies, this is not the greatest film ever made, but it does do what it's meant to do, which is entertain.
David Fincher can do no wrong. This film is the closest thing to perfection. How Rosamund Pike lost the Oscar in 2015 was just as shocking to me as all the twists and turns in the film. Everyone involved in this film was flawless, and yes, that includes Mable Madea Simmons (Tyler Perry) herself.
