Very nice gas range

Okay, so this is our first gas range since 1978, so it is taking a bit of getting used to. That said, this range is easy to use and I'm pleased by it. It looks great and we're enjoying the convection oven. Since we are going from NO convection to a simple single fan oven, we don't know if the fancier ovens are better. It was a little hard to level the thing because there isn't much clearance to work with and the adjustable feet have a large adjuster thingy (the scientific name for the doohickey) that is hard to get a wrench around.
I really love the center griddle. I didn't think I would, but it is really nice. You have to be certain that the stove is level if you cook a whole package of cheap bacon on it. Otherwise the grease will all run down to the low corner and potentially leak over the side onto the top of the stove. One selling point for us was the fact that this particular oven DOESN'T have a warming drawer on the bottom. We need the space below the oven to store our skillets and can't imagine ever using a warming feature, so this was perfect for us. However, it IS a smaller space than the one this oven replaced, so the bottom tray doesn't hold as many skillets. If you want a warming tray on the bottom, you'll have to move up to the next model.
The other thing is that the cooktop gets dirtier than the sealed-top electric range that this stove replaced. Well, it doesn't actually get dirtier, it's just that we could just wipe off the electric cooktop when we were cleaning up after dinner. To clean this gas cooktop, we have to remove the grids (or whatever you call them) and then wipe up the spills and splatters, being careful not to dislodge the gas cooking elements (nearly impossible). We weren't used to or expecting this, so we'll just have to grin and bear it.
I should mention that the range came to us with a couple of small dents on the top of it. The installer noticed it and showed it to me. We could have ordered a new one and Best Buy would replace it when the new one came in, or take a 15% discount off and keep the dented one. Since you couldn't see the damage unless someone took a finger and placed it directly on it, we decided to take the discount. I would have no qualms recommending this Samsung range and Best Buy.

The Samsung 2.1 cu-ft over-the-range microwave features precise touch controls located at the bottom of the glass window, lending easy accessibility and a seamless modern look to your kitchen. The scratch-resistant ceramic enamel interior takes some of the elbow grease out of cleanup, so you can effortlessly wipe up accidental spills and spatters. Use the preset sensor cook options to thoroughly cook or reheat your favorite foods with the press of a button, resulting in meals prepared at just the right temperature.

We only use a microwave for warming food, cooking veggies or making popcorn. That's all we've ever done with ANY microwave we've ever had. The times when I tried to get fancy (like defrosting things, softening things, cooking meat, etc), resulted in disaster, every time. You might ask why we have such a fancy oven then. The answer is because all of them at this price point do things we will NEVER need, and this was the one that went best with the other appliances in the kitchen. Microwave foods on two levels? Can't think of a reason we'd do that, so I just tossed out that nice (but unneeded) rack.
I like the dark interior that looks like the inside of a regular oven. It seems to be MUCH easier to clean and keep clean. I like the huge size and it seems to have a tad bit more power than the one it replaced.
Besides paying extra for things we'd never do with a microwave, there are only 3 other things I don't like: NONE of the buttons light up and the labels for the buttons don't contrast with the dark door of the oven, so it's hard to use it in the dark (like to turn the underside light on or off). You have to touch the buttons several times, at different pressures, to get it to do what you want. It must be a Samsung thing because the same can be said for our new Samsung fridge. One final bother is that the LED light underneath the unit is too dim to be used for anything but a nightlight. It's useless to light the cooktop below it.
I guess it sounds like I don't like our new Samsung microwave, but it works and looks nice, so the rest of the things are just bothers. I'd still recommend it, but you should think about the negatives I noted before buying it.
