Great product. New & old tvs are compatible which is great. Streaming possibilities are endless. I have Roku stick too. Great product as well. Only problem I have with the Roku 2 is, here's the but...., there's no way to turn it off unless you unplug it. This leads to it getting hot & using power needlessly. This needs to be resolved. Otherwise a great product.

My devise did not come with an owners manual. How can I get one?
Owners manuals & instructions for almost anything can be found on the internet. There's usually a printable PDF version available as well, if you prefer a hard copy to actually hold & refer to.

can I use my Roku for future streaming services/add new apps as they become available?
99.9% of all electronics today are future proof. Technology evolves so quickly that it would be stifling for any company not to build their products in this manner. Roku is no different. They've designed it to be compatible with the evolution of technology. They do this by pushing their own updates periodically to your Roku device so it's ready for anything. Hope this helps.
