2.4 amps that this device puts out is enough to charge my phone while streaming music over bluetooth and using Google Maps at the same time. Kudos for being low priced. Every now and then it's too much for my phone. An alert pops up and the phone stops charging. More stars if the power supply was more stable.

I picked up this six footer so I can relax in my favorite chair while still charging my phone. One of the nicest things about this cable is the small profile of the plug that goes into my phone. It doesn't interfere with the phones protective case. Five stars if it were cheaper.

Nice machine in a small package

It plays discs just as it shoud. It's so small it fits under one side of my tv.The smart phone remote app is pretty neat too, but the app needs a pop up keyboard for passwords and searches. One can also put videos and music on a USB flash drive and play them through the blue ray player. I like how I can plug it directly into my router so I don't have to mess with yet another password. One thing I don't like about this device is the streaming sevices don't play well with my 3 MBS internet service. Netflix has to stop and buffer too much to be useful. On my Chromecast, however, Netflix works fine as do all my other streaming services I use through the Chromecast. I only use the blue ray player for playing discs.

Plugging it into my HTC Desire 816, I couldn't find the files until I used one of the stock apps that has a built in file browser. (POLARIS Office 5) Only then could I move files around between the flash drive and phone. It's great for shareing files when all you and a friend have at the moment are your phones and this device.

Is there a digital tuner in this blu-ray player,&does it upscale to 1080p?
It came up when I searched for blu-ray player with tuner, but I dont see it mentioned in description or specs.
No digital tuner in this blu ray player. It plays all kinds of discs, video, audio, and pics from flash drives and has several internet apps.
