Good Drive for the Money

I bought this CD/DVD/BD burner for use with a new Apple computer. It's not as fast as I'd like, but it was recommended by the store salesman (who, coincidentally, had no other drives to show me), so I bought it rather than order something online. The drive works well; plackback of CDs and DVDs has been fine; burning discs has been flawless thus far. I've not yet used the drive for Blu-Rays.

It's an Apple computer, so I expected no problem, and sure enough, the computer works flawlessly. My old HP needed to be updated, so I decided to go the Apple route, creating a Bootcamp drive for Windows 10. Windows works without problem on the Apple computer (though I miss the 'backspace' key); it does take a longer time to boot up than Apple IOS, but the prolonged Windows boot up occurs on my Asus and HP products also. Overall, I still don't think you can go wrong with Apple, even if you're only using it for Windows.

I've had the Galaxy Notes 2, 3, and 4, and each one has been an improvement over the previous one. Screen is sharp; the screen is quite responsive to pressing and swipes; sound quality during calls is good. The phone has been quite dependable.
My only reservation is that the curve for learning an Android system is greater than that involved in running iOS; while I like the Apple ecosystem better, I prefer the Note 4 display, especially during phone calls.

The Zagg screen cover applied easily, fit well, and looked good. For a couple weeks. Then it bubbled in three places and began peeling; it wasn't a question of exposure to dirt or the elements--it was only the second time I'd worn the watch since I applied the screen. I've used Zagg products on my smartphones before, and as they begin to peel many months later, I returned them for replacement screens with no problem. This time I felt that was too much trouble; bought some cheaper screen protectors and they've worked great.

It's an external hard drive, so what can be said other than you can read/write from/to it. I've had the drive for a couple of weeks and am using it for storing high res music files. It seems to work flawlessly and is a bit faster than my WD drive even though it's using a USB 2.0 connection. So far, I'm quite happy with it.
